I really like the way this looks and plays but after several attempts could not get my score above zero points.  I feel like if the coloured rings moved just a little slower, it would be more fun.  Or maybe I'm just dreadful at this game.  Good work though!

This was really hard but so fun to play. Nice Job!

Nice little thing you've got here. I like the sound and visuals, and slamming down the ball to change colour is quite satisfying.

I don't know whether there's a way to know the next colour you switch to, or whether it's just random. I feel the gameplay would be much more tactical if there was either a pattern or indicator the next colour.

Overall though this was really good. Well done!

Developer

The colours change in rainbow order, including gray(the last colour) and white(the first colour).

Congrats on finishing your first game jam!

I've decided to try using a standard format for all my feedback this time around. Please excuse me if I come across as overly curt or miss something important about your game. I'm writing these all quite hastily as there are a lot of games in the jam this year!

What I liked

A E S T H E T I C

It makes me think of the meme because of the style but it really is quite a nice look

The concept is "out there" and unique

What I didn't like

I have literally no idea how to play this. I'm supposed to catch the circles, but only one of a certain color. I have no idea what color I'm supposed to be hitting and the circles are on screen for only a fleeting moment so I can never catch them.

Did I think it was so bad it was good?

It's more so incomprehensible it's blargl

My thoughts on the modifier implementation

It seems impossible via incomprehensibility though that's not the intent.

Other remarks

It runs like absolute molasses on my computer.

What does the name mean?

For a first jam entry, it's not bad. You've built something unique and different even if it missed the mark in my opinion. And you got something in on time, which is always an accomplishment in and of itself.

Verdict

I'm really not sure.

If you have any questions, comments, queries or concerns, please reply and I'll do my best to get back to you.

Developer

You hit the balls with the same colour as your character.

I put the update in my description with your name.

Couldn't really grasp what to do even when reading the controls. But made in vanilla javascript...bravo!

Nice job!
