I like seeing scratch games in this jam, it makes me nostalgic for when I used to use it as a kid.

Though I have to admit there isn't much to the game. I was never big into games where its the same thing over and over like Flappy Bird or clicker games, so I wasn't a huge fan of the game play.

The lack of sound I think is also a bummer. Just a little sound when jumping or when the cube hits a spike and turns into a red cube would be neat.

Congrats on submitting though!

I tried loading this into Scratch but I'm not sure if it worked right; what I got wasn't really a playable game. I think I figured out the intended logic. Start as the blue cube, avoid the spikes because they'll turn you into the red cube. But what happened was a lot of red cubes spawning which appeared as a trail behind the blue cube, and it took me a while to figure out what was going on (at first I thought it was a rendering glitch).

Always love to see a good scratch game at SBIGJam 😀 Brings back the memories of when I was using it probably more than 10 years ago at this point 😅 Gameplay is slightly unintuitive at first, but I managed to get the concept in the end.

I would love to see some minor improvements that would make the game much easier to play! Starting the player in a fixed X/Y  position would mean that you can't instantly die if you press the play button over a spike. Having some kind of countdown would also be helpful for playability, and some sound effects would really help improve the game!

Thanks for submitting!

Can't play it for now, but do let me know when a playable version is up!
