10/10 as described. Can't wait for sanicball3 (+knuckles)
Man, I really wish this had more to it.
A sanic racing game where you're jsut a textured ball going around a giant Knuckles trying to show de way would've been great!
Sadly there's just some invisible walls and awkward camera and seemingly no ability to fullscreen the game?
This has a lot of pieces to be a good SBIG game, but as it stands they're just kinda dropped in a level with no purpose. I think if you tried something similar but with some actual objectives and gameplay you could have something great!
Congrats on submitting at least!
As others have mentioned, it's not really clear what this is supposed to be. However, I would like to give props for the controls - while the camera isn't great (esp with your cursor not locked to the screen), having your movement controls be independent from the camera angle is janky in a way that does not reduce the quality of the game imo
thank you for the friendly advice i very much appreciate it and i will learn from it
I think this could be fun if there was any sort of objective here. The weirdly textured balls are definitely a good start, as is the terrain. Camera controls are also kind of funny.
This one is kind of a swing and a miss. My first impression was that it definitely has the janky aesthetic that defines So Bad It's Good in my mind, but other than that it's just pretty bad. The terrain doesn't seem to have colliders that match, the camera control is awful, and it's totally unclear what you're supposed to do. Which, honestly, wouldn't be out of place among some great SBIG entries. But all of those have something more to them, and as far as I can tell that isn't the case here. I rolled around a bit, hit some invisible walls and went through some visible ones, tried rolling in and around the big guy in the center. Nothing seemed to happen. I'm not sure what the concept is here, to be honest. I kinda left feeling confused.
