King Banana.

The origination of the banana meme.

I appreciate the game almost just for that

Either way i'll add some constructive criticism, the controls feel a bit harsh, sometimes register late and the hitboxes are a little bigger than the platforms, i usually make the hitboxes a little smaller than the platform, i call it the "feel good" mechanic, the player wants to feel good and rewarded, but also yes there has to be some challenge, either way great game.

(weird psychedelic background as well, sometimes distracting ;)   )

DUDE ITS YOU OMG

Once rating is over I'm gonna fix up the game add in some options for disabling background and fixing the speed curve + a better high score system:)

Thanks for the feedback, bannaman out

DON'T WANNA BE YOUR MONKEY WRENCH. Fun game. I feel like with the jump speed, it's hard to jump over platforms even with pretty quick reflexes. Congrats on partaking in your first jam!

Nice style. Something temple run inspired. Sound is good as well.

Initial speed is something... Did you try to calculate the time between the obstracle appearing and player reaction? Usually it's at least 0.2s needed for human to react.

The controls feel responsive and nice, the visuals could be improved, but overall, this is nice to play!

The art style is really cool, hard to play though. Find it frustrating, but with a little speed curve I think this game would be pretty cool!

The player could start running more slow and speed being increased through time.

May you rate my game too?

2.5D makes the game fun, but the main theme of the jam, which was highscore/leaderboard is missing. But fun.

Developer

there is a high score system but I didn't have time to implement a online one

I meant to say the highscore feature. Currently, at the death, it just shows the score for this run, not the highest score.

Developer

it should be an easy implement, ill have to add it sometime later if I'm allowed too

I really like the unique perspective of the game with everything at an angle. I struggled with making jumps though. I would often collide well away from the obstacle, or my jump would be so floaty that I couldn't land in time to prep for the next obstacle
