Thanks for playing!

Thank you for playing!

The game was nice to play. The idea is good. I liked the art style as well. Music/SFX is nice, but I think it was too loud. I see a growth potential here. You could add some more fish/boat types, and fishing nets (?). Also, I thought I'll be able to catch bigger fish to scale. Well done!

Nice! We had almost the same idea at first. The game itself looks polished and stylish. The art and SFX are good. But there's definitely something you could do about the camera, e.g. having the vignette or fixed zoom sizes, to reduce motion sickness. Solid overall!

I liked the idea. There's something you can do with the grappling hook concept. The controls could be simplified tho. It feels confusing a but when you need to press the spacebar after releasing the LMB. Good job anyway!

FANTASTICFANTASTICFANTASTICFANTASTIC!

It was fun to play. I liked the art style; it looks cute. However, the building feels a bit unnecessary and could be simplified, as well as the controls. It definitely has some potential. Good job!

The concept is nice. I liked the idea of scaling "areas." The SFX and the art have a nice retro style as well. It could be a nice project if you'd work on graphics and difficulty besides gamejam. Good job!

Hey, good job. I like the art style choice. As other people mentioned, I think it would win from having better controls. E.g. it could use the keyboard instead of the mouse. Well done.

Thank you for playing. And thanks for the feedback, very helpful.

Thanks!

Yeah, sorry I didn't give clue about that 😅 Thanks for the feedback!

Thanks, very much appreciated 😊

Thank for kind words, and for playing 😊

Once I've read this I was able to finish te game. Looks like the main mechanics was a bit confusing for me. It feels pretty satisfying to play. Good job!

Oh, I've got it now. Thanks. I thought that could also play with physics. E.g. multiply big's velocity if it's mid air. It could be a nice "catapult" mechanics.

Glad it got better with the tutorial. I'd include somthing like this into the game later. Thanks for playing!

(1 edit)

Nice style. I liked the music and SFX as well. The camera effects are dope. However I wasn't able to finish the mid-air scale part. How do you pass it?

Good job anyways! Especially when you know it's only 48h.

Hey, thanks for the feedback.

"best strategy is slowly building up resources before expanding too far" - exactly. And it fits the jam's theme as well. You need to scale before you can handle bigger rushes.

I wanted to make "Sap" more valuable, so you will prepare for battles first, but it didn't work that well. But I already have some thoughts on better balance. Like adding obstracles, more fighting strategies and so on. Will defenetly work on it post jam.

Thanks for the review, and thanks for playing!

Looks cute. I like the sound as well. As has been said before, we need easier control. Slimes look small, maybe better work on object sizing. And some features you don't need (like recall), or you can make mechanics out of it. Good job anyways!

Thanks for playing and your comments. I'd work on it post-jam. And now I'll try to add the tutorial image. Appreciated!

Thank you for playing. I agree, the balance is not the easiest thing, to be honest. But I'll fix it in post jam. Thanks for your feedback!

Looks nice. The art style is good. It is not 100% obvious how tiles interact with eachother. I had fun. Thanks.

Really solid work. 5/5 for creativity. The countrols and the goal wasn't obvious at first. I love puzzles, would defenetly play it again, and will try to solve as many puzzles as pissible :) Good job!

The art style is so nice. The gameplay is nice and simple. Love the SFX as well. Good job.

Ha-ha. It's hilarious. Good job!

Thanks for playing. Yeah, I agree. Game is a bit complicated at first, because of lack of feedback and tutorials.

Nice! Even tho it's simple I've spent some time here. The balance could be better tho. But it's a good work anyways. Love the art style.

Thanks! Ha-ha. No one deserves so many bugs :) Going to fix them in the update.

Thank you. I appreciate it.

Thanks!

Thanks for the review. Glad you liked it.

> The biggest issue is that when all of your microbes die the game does not seem to acknowledge it and offers no way to restart.

Yep. There is an "Loose screen" actually, but I configured no conditions for it :(

> A smaller issue is that the bigger texts like the one that explains what K does are a bit blurry.

Ha-ha. Added them almost at the last moment. Fill fix in the future update.

Thanks, man. Glad you liked it.

P.S. Liked your game too!

Thanks for the review.  There is a "Loose screen", but I just didn't finish all conditions in time.

Liked the art style. Looks really nice and polished. Music is good as well. I think you just should tune the char's speed and attack patterns because often it's impossible to dodge at all. It's kinda frustrating. Anyway, good job! Cool!

The game looks nice. The mechanic itself is kinda tricky, because of isometrics and reload. Good job anyway.

Looked pretty. Wish the mechanics were more clear and enjoyable. Overall good work!

Liked the art style. The game looks pretty solid. Good job!

I also had the same issue. None of the native windows shortcuts can help. Wasn't able to play.

I loved it! Really nice art style. It wasn't so appealing at first look but created a cool atmosphere for sure. From this point of view, I liked the music also. You motivated me to use some acoustic music on the next jam.  The mechanic is simply clever. Like this type of game.

Good job!
