It's a very interesting idea (I love physics puzzles by the way), although I have to agree with Robin - it's a bit too fast paced and I don't really feel in control of the cannon ball. Maybe if it wasn't scrolling (at all or at least that much, so the level would more or less fit on the screen) and the falling was happening in slo-mo it would be a bit less about luck and more about the player rotating the magnets just the right way. The original idea is great and I can definitely see you building upon this and consequently making a wagon of cash porting the game to mobile and selling different looking cannon balls as in-app purchases! ;)

The concept is there, but I felt personally there was a bit to much chance involved. I didn't really find much reason to manipulate the ball with the magnets, since I didn't see where I'd want the ball to go. I think a slightly more outzoomed game area would make all the difference here  - if I could see where the ship or the birds were earlier, I'd need to plan a lot more and then the magnet thing would be really cool. But when you finally see the ship, it's allready too late to do much. I ended up just trying to rotate the magnets out of the way and rely on luck - and that's also a game but I don't believe that was your goal here?

Would love to try it again if more of the area was visible. :D But then again, watching the screenshot - it looks a lot more zoomed out. Perhaps there is a zoom-key or something I've missed? :o

Thanks! Yea we noticed that it was too difficult to hit the ship a little too late and didn't have time to implement a fix for it. We had the idea to put a UI object at the bottom of the screen to indicate where the ship was (and how far away it was) on the last day, so I'm sure there will be some future updates for this :)

Also that screenshot I took just from the scene view in Unity so there would at least be some indication besides text instructions that there even was a ship down there at the bottom lol.

Good game, simple but brilliantly executed. Well done.

Thanks! This was our first game jam and we're pretty happy with how it turned out.
