As a theme of parkour, the game is interesting, but it seems to me that you should work on optimizing performance and the algorithm for the appearance of platforms. If you fix these two points, then the game will be very good.

Developer

Thank you :)

Yeah, I added no settings so it's on full anti-performance mode xD
And the platforms algo was done within 2-3h, make sure to follow as changes will be made! ;]

You did a really good job on this, especially considering how detailed it is and you were on your own.  I did keep dying in places where it didn't really seem fair and I had to go back to your game page to find any instructions BUT once I figured out how to play I had a lot of fun and left my mark on your leaderboard ;)

Developer

Thanks for a positive feedback and I'm glad it was a nice experience :)

Yeah, the random death seems to occur under the Flamethrower, I am sure it has to do something with the Code that controls size and placement of the Trigger Box that kills you - I made this so if a platform spawns above the Flamethrower the Trigger Box will not extend out there

procedural generation takes practice. It’ll get there 😁

I like how this game has proper textures and lighting. Procedual level is quite hard to adapt to and sometimes I felt like the platform was dangerous than the fire or laser.

Developer

unfortunately I worked totally solo on it and started working on the Procedural Floors 4,5h before the deadline 🤣 so it’s a 2-3 hours spent on this system, it’s challenging cuz its a very simple looped code

I like all the stats in the restart menu, and the controls feel good. Only thing is I keep dying in places where it doesn't feel like my fault (e.g. one time the thruster sends me through the hoop fine, the next I die; or a platform is generated in front of me at head height and I can't seem to jump over it). Maybe I'm missing something though.

Developer

check the description to see controls as you can slide under them, if you hold S while falling on floor you will slide and if you’re full speed and press crouch for at least 0,2s

unfortunately I didn’t manage to finish it all and the help button  event wasn’t fired so you cannot see the controls in game, sorry for that one 😅

Ohhh that makes a lot of sense, I'll give it another try

Developer

It will get better once the Jam is finished, I will make proper updates ;]

Thank you! I appreciate that ^_^
Will get better once updated after the Jam ;]
