Wonderful Main Menu transitions, personally I dislike the flashy colours as it hurts the eyes a bit but it's fine
The game - boii, you and (if you have one) your Team did a very good job, Tutorial was very nice and insightful while having it written in a nice manner as if the game has a backstory
The game progression is very nice and dynamics are awesome, the only thing I was missing is using spacebar to jump but I got used to use RMB and walls instead :)
Variety of weapons + loadouts, multiple enemies, many possibilities for play style, combo system is very neatly implemented - it's actually kinda outstanding in your game as it's based on multiple factors
And you've protected the game from abusers like me xD I was trying to spam mouse button and get into wall but soon after the input stops responding for 1-2 seconds, well done!
Gamemplay -5/5 - just love it!
Theme - 5/5 as you need the momentum to keep going
Aesthetics - 5/5 - very simple, yet effective, won't degrade any stars for the flashy main menu but it's something to be changed imo :) (at least less bright colors)
Sound - 5/5 - good sound selection, nothing was annoying and even if - we've got settings to change it :)
Seriously - for 3 days Jam this game has been made very well, respect! It's very cool and addictive!
Soooo, unfortunately I wasn't able to get my score to the Leaderboard although I killed the boss
At some point the enemies start spawning veeeery rapidly and FPS drops to 0 few moments after it happens (about 1-2 minutes of play)
Sometimes when unlucky the ammo doesn't spawn and the only thing left is death :P
After hitting the Boss once his HP Bar shows he has no more HP
And although killing the boss the game didn't end (maybe that is supposed to happen)
Otherwise it's a very fun game :)
Gameplay - 4/5 (due to the small gameplay related bugs) but it's a fun game :)
Theme - 3/5 because there was no mutation functionality, just mutants trying to kill you in a lab :)
Aesthetics - 5/5 - I love how it looks like, very nice graphics! Smooth and retro
Sound - 4/5 - because you could add some more sounds + options for audio

I just watched my friend playing it on his machine - are you able to get the swords at the beginning? Do you have collisions that block the free space? Like a big box of collision instead of some complex stuff?
Also the level is veeeery dark - is that the case for you too? And mouse Y is inverted…
because that’s very bad if you cannot do everything there
there’s a goal of this game and it’s for some longer play time but what it is now is prettt bad 🙄

Yeah, the random death seems to occur under the Flamethrower, I am sure it has to do something with the Code that controls size and placement of the Trigger Box that kills you - I made this so if a platform spawns above the Flamethrower the Trigger Box will not extend out there
check the description to see controls as you can slide under them, if you hold S while falling on floor you will slide and if you’re full speed and press crouch for at least 0,2s
unfortunately I didn’t manage to finish it all and the help button event wasn’t fired so you cannot see the controls in game, sorry for that one 😅
