I love that players get the option to bind the pieces how they want to, it really adds a level of expression to the gameplay!

This game is super complicated for a jam, great work! The amount of text and buttons on the screen was confusing at first but I got the hang of it. It would be nice if there was an easy way to move parts that you had already put on Scrappy, or if when you removed a part you got the scrap back for it. Really cool idea and execution though, I'm impressed.

Thank you for the comment  :)

I agree, going forward with this I should implement a system where you can move pieces and make it more forgiving.

Also, you're right, a concept like this absolutely demands more of a tutorial. I need to come up with a better and more simple way to communicate the mechanics of the game.

Thank you for playing.

I dont love, that the scrap gets taken away for good. In my case got to level 6 with only three thusters and then i wanted to make some adjustments and ran out of scrap and  basically ended up with an  unfunctional mess^^ I think it takes away from the the experimenting nature of the game. I could imagine the scrap to be taken after you successfully reached the goal. But besides that its super impressive how you achieved this modular system and the mechanics are great, i just want to experiemnt with the parts more. Very good game :)

Yeah, I think you're right about the scrap being taken away. It was a decision I made for the sake of difficulty but in hindsight I think it just causes frustration. Being able to make adjustments as you continue to try to beat a level would be more fun than how I have it now. Doing something like you said, where the scrap purchases are not final until level completion is a fantastic way to keep the level of difficulty up, keep the "scrap economy" in tact, and also vastly improve the user experience.

I appreciate you taking the time to play and post this comment.

I hope you had fun  :)
