Beautiful game with a fun concept! It's like a reverse tower defense.
Great game! You might consider adding button which speeds up everything (in case some units will get incredibly slow). Synthwave theme is lovely!

I enjoy the idea of a reverse assault on a tower defense base.
I also find it entertaining how the pawns seem to dance whenever approaching the center tower.
The game could use some more "info" about what each evolve tier does, or perhaps what the current level of each tier is currently at.

They also has different dances depends on their speed!
There are many hidden mechanics not stated in info panel. Maybe it would be better if we make an whole fullscreen widget for game info :)
Every evolve do what it says - Speed/Health/Damage/Score for every unit approaching tower. Only population is not tied to any unit.
More over it's meant to be like real world survival of the fittest evolution where mutations are random across population. So every time you click on some "mutation" all survived units get random change mutated stat value, something like +-20%.

The gameplay is nice, but i was a bit put off that evolution can be negative or positive. I'm not quite sure how that mechanic works. I wanted to make really fast, really tanky people and they just got slow as hell. The concept is great though!

So as it random change for every survivor it hard to display. Also it works same way with towers.
Love the role reversal of a classic tower defense game! The menus are amazing, I gotta say. I'd be interested to see what kind of gameplay you would add if this was a full game
I think this is a super cool twist on the tower defence game and id love to see where this concept could go. Soundtrack is great but i think the gameplay during the waves needs work because at the moment all the player can do is watch(correct me if im wrong)
This was a really cool idea, but I think the balance is maybe a little bit off. I got well past 3 million and the rounds were getting pretty long even when I stopped upgrading. I assume you lose when your whole wave gets killed but I think I made them too strong to find out lol. Absolutely love the art style and music! Great job!
