I saw this on the discord server! I was like: Woah they have lots done

Developer

Hahaha yeah? That's awesome! Thanks for playing!

Enjoyed this one! Just a little difficult placing things sometimes

Developer(+1)

Cheers!

Good idea, nice realisation!!

Submitted(+1)

very satisfying :)

Submitted(+1)

it's pretty good game 9.5/10

at the beginning it lag little bit but then it goes smoothly

thanks for this game and good luck

Developer(+1)

That's awesome! Thanks!

Well executed game with a nice curve!

I particularly liked the visual and audio feedback when you place down a new factory on a square. That felt pretty satisfying.

One question, is it possible to remove buildings after you place them down? Or do you just have to keep adding stuff instead?

Developer

Thanks! No, I didn't add a feature to remove stuff unfortunatly

The music is great, also the pixel art is really nice!

Great game, but i feel that streamers might just get the most optimized run and then not much skill invoved, and it uses speed clicking which is a skill that some people  dont have. So its  skill locked to be good at the game.

Also, the planets maybe should have different sizes, so they can be expanded without creating another square. Also maybe make certain "tower coin generators" work better if they are  near eachother.

Pros:

- Very Entertaining Gameplay loop
- Artstyle is cute, also the music is jamming

Cons:

- Idk if it was just me, but the game was lagging horribly while I played.
- I don't understand the need for the powerups when getting a new planet increases the speed I get money way more than any of the powerups do. (powerups are the humans, factory, etc.)

Rating: 4.7/5

Developer(+1)

4.7?? WOW thank you so much! So sorry for the lag, I didn't get it but my PC probably helps with that haha, if there's any interest in an expanded game I'm 100% looking into that! Thank you so much for playing! :D

Okay a few things here:

PROS:
- No idea why, I love games like this, simple graphics, building better and better things to get more and more resources.
- Catchy as music, hardly noticed when looping
- Played until 1000 seconds, hardly noticed the time

CONS:
- There was an issue with the laser miner, didnt want to place at all, needed to click out of screen and - back in before it could be placed
- Where are the Cats + Guns??????

Questions and suggestions:
Do the purple planets give better resources or is it just the same as red 0/6?
Rocket fuel should have been 10,000

10/10 would mine out entire solar system again

Developer (1 edit)

I'm so glad you liked it! I thought Cats and Guns was an optional theme? Like pick one or combine them?

For the cons, I noticed there are hella bugs with my placement system, if there is enough interest for it I'll rework the game and make a simple grid system :)

EDIT: if you click the purple planet, it does give you more resources :D

Cats + Guns is a separate theme! They are not both required!!

I really like idle/incremental games, so I was really interested in playing this and I'd say that I wasn't disappointed. The aesthetics are very appealing and the gameplay is fun.

I'd say that given how short the gameplay is, doesn't produce anything while the game is closed, and given how effective active clicking is compared to passive, it's not so much an idle game but more of an incremental game. Just a bit of a heads up. :P

Was kind of hoping for an online leaderboard for who has the most money at a single point so I can work on getting the biggest solar system, but oh well. Overall, great work!

Developer(+1)

Thanks for the feedback and kind words! Yeah I would've liked a leaderboard too, but I just couldn't figure out lootlocker for the life of me hah

Submitted(+1)

I know right? I had a hard time getting a Lootlocker leaderboard working too. I think the documentation on their website should be fleshed out some more.

Submitted(+1)

I got hooked on this! Great job

Developer

Thank you so much for playing hahaha!

Submitted(+1)

I like this game, the idea and the process itself. Unfortunately, as soon as you want to try to beat the game as quickly as possible, clicking is too effective. My personal opinion is that it would be worth making buildings or clicks cheaper

Developer

Yeah, I was SUPER disorganized during the jam and completely forgot the whole highscore thing so at the last minute I just slapped a timer in there and crossed my fingers hahaha

Thank you so much for the kind words!

Submitted(+1)

Familiar. In any case, this won’t stop me from sitting for another half an hour and building a beautiful star system

Developer

That's awesome, I'm glad you like it hahaha!

Very Addicting Gameplay! 🌏

Things I enjoyed ✔️

  1. Sprite work is very well done!
  2. Sound design is superb!
  3. Gameplay is very fun!

Things I would like to possibly see with your title. 🤷‍♂️

  1. Only thing I could say is just making it so you cant place planets on top of one another, it kinda breaks the game a bit when you can place like 10 planets on top of one another.

Overall 📓

Very fun game! I enjoyed my time playing it, and I am glad years of cookie clicker and clicker heroes came in handy on this game. I feel more upgrades could really extend the longevityof this game! Great work! You should be proud of yourself!

Developer(+1)

Thank you so much!!

Submitted(+1)

Of course! I love your artstyle so much by the way! I went back to playing your game after the little review I made!

I feel like this game needs a grid system. You can just place everything on top of each other and since you are using "OnMouseButtonDown" the land behind it wont be affected since the raycast doesn't reach the game objects

Developer

The buildings should not be placeable on itself, but the planets, I agree with you

Submitted(+1)

I really like the visuals and the game feeling :) ! Says in finger*

Looking good so far! :3
