I really enjoyed your game. I found the sound to be a bit too loud, but overall, it was very creative.
Nice Old school game! I like the enemy designs and the aesthetics! The sound is very cool and authentic, but you start it way too loud at the beginning of the game. I had to turn it down a bit to be able to enjoy it. Still great job!
Had no idea who i was supposed to shoot at first, but after that i just went with shooting the enemies when they were at the bottom of the screen and it became very easy! Lots of very cool effects that make it super fun to play well done!
This is a fantastic arcade game. Did you consider using the mouse vs WASD? We ended up not killing anybody until they came to the front.... which made the game very easy for us lol. I'm thinking maybe make it to where the baddies could kill the miners if they were next to each other. Oh yeah and one of my favorite parts of the game was seeing the miners JUMP into the hotbar. that was very very cool. Nice job.
You nailed the game look and feel. The aiming mechanic is so cool!
As for the difficulty – I wonder what the game will become if add a visual reload (you need to reach a certain point of the screen with aim; the positioning might be randomized)?
Fun for about 5 minutes.

Thank you for your honest feed back! I'm happy that you like the aesthetics, it's definitely the part I'm happiest with. I will say that the game play was meant to be simple, along the lines of Missile Command and Asteroids, it did need a little something something to happen every once and a while. like the plane in Missile Command and the UFO in Asteroids.
still, the controls feel janky. A sensitivity slider could help
I love the retro aesthetics and sounds, the gameplay is a bit to simple and easy at start, but overall great entry congrats
