That ending gave me a chuckle lol. That was a pretty fun game! It got a little challenging at times, but thankfully the checkpoints were placed just frequently enough to not be frustrating. I liked the simple art style, though I wish the character had some kind of outline or something that contrasted with the dark background in the underground section. It was a little hard to distinguish, at least for me.
Overall, really fun game! I couldn't decipher the morse code (sorry) but I thought that bit was pretty cool to have. Good job on the game!
Thank you
The games got a fun energy to it. Nice graphics too. But, for me, the writing clashed with the gameplay.
good game, I play until stage 2, cannot finish this stage (no bug just I not skillful in this type game). Love the feel of panic when monster sudden appear and chasing you. Nice light effect. A little bit hard when try to go upward in stage 2 before monster showing up.
Thank you for the feedback
Nice, that was pretty fun. I was excited that the morse code actually said something... :)
I think during the sequence where you have to jump over the invisible flashlight guys underground, the background makes it kind of hard to figure out where to land since that grid background moves separately from the rest of the scene. Might help to have a static background behind those sections
Thanks for playing it and finding the morse code I was hoping someone will figure it out,
and you have right, making the background static is better thank you for your feedback
I like pizza very much, but if that was what I had to go through to get some, I think I might just stay at home and eat something else x3 Anything where you're getting chased feels tense by default to me, haha. I found it somewhat difficult, but then I don't often play stuff like this so I'm awful at it xD The general look and feel of the game was great though! I feel so sorry for the poor dude cos it's a lovely calm night and he just wants some pizza, then that happens O.O
I was playing Celeste during the jam, so any game seemed so easy. I will remember in the future to make a difficulty menu
I'm sure most people would manage fine on the difficulty as it is :3 I'm just especially crap at stuff like this xD My gaming skills have seriously diminished over time, haha. Used to play stuff like Megaman as a kid... bet I couldn't complete half the games I used to play if I tried em again now!
I like stuff that looks like this and it was pretty addictive too well done
Thank you
A nice concept with the great idea of getting pizza!
The chasing parts and the art style were pretty nice. I found the same bug as the comment bellow, where In the 3rd chasing sequence after a second the game keeps spawning me back at the checkpoint, I couldnยดt keep going. I would've like a double jump feature, it was a little difficult to pass the monsters in the underground area.
Thank you for your feedback and in the third chasing you need to use you'r FlashLight.
Makes sense, I'll play it again
I found the graphic style really nice, and the pursuit sequences were intense!
However, I had two issues:
- The jump SFX was delayed
- After the second chasing in the basement, I got a bug where I couldn't travel further, indeed, my character fell each time through the ground.
Overall nice work!
thank you for informing me, i will see what i can do.
I think I had something similar, with falling through the ground. For me that was the 2nd part of the cave, when the game introduces invisible enemies that you have to use your flashlight to see (by pressing the F key). That part was a little confusing and I had to look into the game's description for the controls.
Who doesnt like pizza right?!
I guess he was like, "It's a nice night for a slice of human"
The chase sequences were excellent! Great moments of tension
thank you
I really like this game! The feeling of just barely making a jump is such a great base mechanic to build a horror game on, you really nailed that game feel. I don't know if this is intended or not but I juked the monster out twice in the game by jumping over him when he was in a pit, then I'd just run along behind him. It was fun for me, but I'm not sure if it's a bug you're aware of. Anyways, great game!! Thanks for making it :)
Thanks for the kind words! Glad you liked it, jumping over monster was a bug but after play testing i like it and decide to leave it for the smart players level 900 Qi
Dang, I am not a smart player.
