Cool idea and it did make me very tense, I think it's just a bit more frustrating than scary, or at least that's what I found. I never got to the ending because I kept on getting stuck with loads of ascening tiles around me, and it was never clear which general direction I had to go.

When I saw the word 'mathematical' in the description, that already filled me with a sense of horror cos I do not do too well with numbers x3 haha. I was a bit confused at first until I realised it was telling me which way to head + hovering over squares had directions on (yes, I'm quite slow when it comes to these things xD but it is also almost 4:30am so that probably didn't help, haha.) The music + SFX made for a somewhat lonely atmosphere, which I mean in a good way cos it gave me a sort of feeling of isolation!

Also, is it weird that the walking animation for the little dude when facing towards and away from the player's perspective made me smile x3 I just like it! There's something cute about it, haha :3

Thank you. I try to avoid using numbers as much as possible, and I'm getting better at making bad pixel art!

You're doing a lot better than me then! I've tried soooo hard over the years to get better at art in general, but it's like I'm just destined to suck at it forever >.< haha. I'm determined to be able to draw a webcomic some day though!

Really interesting concept and felt pretty polished -- had some trouble with the final area but the ending was cool. Would appreciate if it was a little easier to tell which direction was descending without hovering the squares -- like when ascending turns red, it becomes a lot more straightforward visually and I actually liked that. Overall though, nice job, I enjoyed it :)

Interesting and orignial game. It truly make you feel like a poorly coded human algorythm lost and scared. Well Done !

Thank you! I appreciate hearing that.
