I played it 3 times, but I don't have a slightest idea what the goal or objective is :C I'm too dumb :(
Good Stuff: environment is very nice, with cool pixelated look.
Bad stuff: picking batteries is super difficult, sometimes it gets picked up, usually it isn't. No clear goal of the game. Battery runs out waaaaay to fast, it's impossible to even look around and catch your bearings
Thanks for the feedback, the goal is just to survive as long as possible. Batteries will show back up, they also won't be picked up if your flashlight is above a certain threshold. The only indicator one has been picked up is that your flashlight will click off and play an animation. :)
Amazing work! Simple but effective concept and good use of the darkness. I had a bit of trouble picking up certain batteries so I fell to the darkness many times haha, but overall, a great scary game!
Out of all the early jam games I've played, this is the best one so far! Though one issue I encountered was the batteries that were too high for me to acquire.
I'm glad that you like it! You've got to jump with space bar and climb on furniture to get to certain batteries. You can also move a little faster if your flashlight is off and you hold left shift. :)
The game itself its quite promise the pixel 3d effect always works to make a great atmosphere , but the music that was made for this game isnt the best choice, it ruins the mood quite a bit, also taking that the battery holds out quite for a long time and they respawn the batteries so i can be playing this game forever without much challenge. The graphic are pretty good and the typography is pretty nice too.
