Cool scrolling 2.5d graphics! For me the projectiles only appeared when I actually made contact with enemies, for a while I wasn't hitting any of them so I thought they weren't firing. Other than that I enjoyed the game.
Hi, not really sure what you mean projectiles, do you mean the explosions that happen when you shoot the enemies?? Because that was just because I thought them exploding would be cool, there are no visible bullets or "projectiles" being shot from the player.
The hit detection is a little bit messed up/rushed I will admit because the 2.5d nature was a big undertaking for me especially considering I was not using an engine.
I really like the overall style of the game i thought the sprites and animations looked really cool and i really liked the boss battle at the end i think with more game play elements this could be a really cool game.
you could possibly turn it into the rhythm like game sorta like crypt of the necromancer at least the shoot on beat aspect of it
but overall a very solid game :D
The soundtrack was really good! I also liked the final boss reveal when the house appeared.
I like the arcade style mechanics. It was a little too easy to spam click enemies off on the horizon. I only tried it once but I did fail the boss fight, the projectiles came out a little too easy. I feel perhaps some hit marker would have been nice for killing enemies since you do it a lot.
Overall neat submission.
