I think this game will be the perfect choice for Scream Jam 2023. I like the imaginary and simplicity in this game.
Great job! This game does a great job at making me feel on edge for a simple game. The sound fx made me hesitant to look behind me and the slow walking animation made me feel like I had little ability to escape whatever comes my way. One thing I would recommend changing would be making the proximity for interacting with objects a bit larger/efficient. Whenever I got to close, the ability to interact was gone also. I had to adjust my position quiet a few times to finally to be able to press E. I know you also put the controls on your page, but I would've appreciated if the controls were shown somewhere accessible like the pause menu. Thank you for the game.
Love how simple but scary this whole thing was. One addition I can recommend though, and this isn't about the game, but maybe use some thicker font or white text? It was really demanding on my eyes trying to read. Great job on the game though! Loved it

Fantastic work for a week! The game reminded me of the movie "The Ring". It was scary and fit perfectly with the horror theme of the Game Jam. Regarding feedback, I think having a bit more of a storyline would have helped. Moving around was a little challenging, but overall, the game was great!
