LOVE the style dude, that was some great stuff! fortnite guy?!

God, I love the aesthetics in this one, for some reason it just hits different with all the art. Not that the writing wasn't good alone too, it was interesting and at times morbidly comedic.

Great work on this! ^^

I enjoyed reading through the story, I only have one complaint. I am too used to double tapping next to auto-fill text as I read faster than it prints, I kept skipping dialogue by accident and would prefer control over the type speed.

That was pretty emotional and chilling. I felt sad for the player character because of everything he had to endure. ='(

I liked the game a lot. However, I felt like my choices did not have much of an effect.

Thank you for your honest feedback <3

Loved this one - the art, sound, story and choices really get that opressive aspect of "mundane" horror across well, and made the supernatural elements stand out too. Glad to see you have plans to keep working on it after the jam!

Thank you! :D

An emotional journey, very good and in-depth story and curious to see where it goes from here. Great work on this one!

Thank you!

Really good depressing/horrifying game. I regret it ended after the second nights’ dream, I wanted to see how the demon would play with me. It reminded me of some web creepy pastas, and I loved the artistic direction (graphics and sounds).

Developer(+2)

Thank you so much! We were really sad that we had to cut so much stuff, we created over 250 images for the game but barely used any of them :,)

I know it, I spent nearly two days creating ~80 sound effects for our jam entry, but only a few were added ¯_(ツ)_/¯

Developer(+2)

I’m sorry to hear :,3 but well done for making so many in such a short time!

The story is definitely good here, well done.

Also lmao at fortnite kid wanting spaghetti.

Developer(+1)

Thank you for the feedback, and glad you enjoyed Fortnite kid :)

Wow, this was an incredibly emotional experience. The story feels very sincere, and the idea of tying horror to depression is really engaging. I'd love to see where the story goes when it is finished. Great work!

Developer(+3)

I’m very glad to hear that, thank you, it means a lot <3

Only bad thing is that it ends so quickly, Love the game, Great work!

Thank you so much!

That wass how should i say? Impactfull. Loved the pixel hand drawn art sytle and the conversations with the childeren scenes :D (Fortnite kid demands spaghetti!) I can't say the first scare had any effect on me. It needs more anticipation i think not sure... It would be great if the selected choices had stronger effects on the story but thats acceptable fo a jam game :] Overall really charming game had fun with it. Well done!

Developer(+1)

Thank you so much! We shall try to tweak it once the jam is over :)

I like the handdrawn art and animation, i bet you put a alot of work on it , completing it in a week. Game kinda progresses like a visual novel. I think different choices have different outcomes. I wish there was some more gameplay but i like the story and premise of the game. The loop concept and all is cool. Good job and good luck in your future projects!

Developer(+2)

Thank you for playing the game and providing feedback. I'm glad you enjoyed the visual novel style and the concept of the loop.

Thank you! We had to really cut down on the different outcomes and minigames that we were gonna do just because we ran out of time nearer the end! Thank you for your feedback <3

Really loved this story based game. The cinematics were nice. The story was a bit too direct to me, didn't feel the weight of choises really, but I guess, every path must be a horror path. Nice job, waiting for the updates!

Developer(+2)

Thank you for your feedback on the game, and I'm glad you liked the story. I will let you know when we add anything new.

How bleak, how relentless and grim. Well done, well done. The whole experience had me on edge, the scratchy art style and churn of the experience built dread deliciously. Will I sleep well tonight? I hope so, but those are dreams I don't want to have. Great work, I would have continued well beyond the *ahem* end. Muhaha etc.

Developer(+2)

Thank you for the feedback! I'm glad you enjoyed the game. We intentionally aimed for a bleak and relentless style.

Great game, I really like the art style, it gives the game an fun and unique look. the writing and story are also really good, and I wish to see more of it.

My only Feedback right now is that the choices you make as the player dont feel like choices since they dont really effect the story.

However, I completly understand that that is a lot to ask from a jam game, especially one as short as this one. Overall I really enjoyed playing the game.

Great game, Keep it up♥

Thank you for the kind words @bullfrog-777. We had a few more ideas around the choices and at one point had stats for the main character, but we had to cut quite a lot to get everything finished in time. The time goes quickly!
