  • Great idea for using procedural generation to create random levels to keep things fresh. The battery system works well and adds a bit of tension too. Maybe adding in a bit of variation to the level assets could keep things fresh. Great work!

Love the retro style. Really hits that atari/commador era nicely. I appreciate that a lot!

I love the sound design, both of the background track and the footsteps and monster VFX! I'm curious, can you ever see the monster or do you have to realize he's nearby by sound only? I tried seeing him a few times but never managed. Overall a nice little game!

Thanks! While the monster itself doesn't have any visual art, you can in fact see its shadow move in the dark -- but when you do, it'll always begin chasing you.

The game was fun to play, good minigame.

Cool game, had a little jump when I got caught after wandering around after my flashlight ran out of power lol

It's a nice little game with cool aesthetics that remind me of the fnaf mini-games. It coulda been a bit longer as I was able to complete the game very very quickly but it's overall very solid for a quick game jam game.

Very simple, but well done. The flashlight timer definitely added an element of urgency that the game needs. The main character sprite was also pretty cute with how sad he was lmao.

Good going!

This is great! Fun game, smooth controls, nice aesthetic, and pretty difficult!
