I love the little visual tricks used in the game, such as the storybook unfolding into the room's assets, and the uncanny and slightly off character portraits, which reflect the theme of the game well. I hope you're able to follow up on the idea for this game, which mines into the anomaly theme of analog horror in a prison setting.
Thanks for submitting Prison 161 to the jam!
I really want to see this game develop further. I really like the artwork a lot! The preview of the game really stands out, I immediately clicked on it as soon as I saw it!
Nice start to the game but not enough gameplay to really judge. Be interesting to see where you take it in the future!
The book opening intro and the environment were so cool! Sad that you didn't get to finish the gameplay.
the characters had nice art but it was very difficult to tell how i was meant to be doing things. all of the doors look the same but only one of them can be used at the start and after using it and speaking with the people i didn't really see a way to actually send them to their tasks. it's a cool idea though!
You are absolutely right. Unfortunately, we couldn't finish the gameplay part, but we want to continue with the idea and maintain the game. I will be playing your game as well!
Really nice art! I wanted to see more
Thanks! If only we had time for development :(
