That was cool, a nice player chooses visual novel. There were a lot of avenues for the player to go as well. I'm jealous of that opening icon "della cerra development", looked very professional.

It's really quite simple to add, You find it in the unity build settings >>> player settings under Splash Screen, Logos >>> Add a new logo and decide the duration of it's appearance then your golden.

oh man, learning new things all the time. A splash screen was one of those things I'd been meaning to learn about haha thanks

This is an interesting story! I also really enjoyed the brush-stroke art style and music. It's a good vibe for the game!

The concept of collecting fragmented memories and trying to navigate this strange realm is interesting--I think if y'all continue to work on this there could be interesting ways to connect the memories and actions in the game. I found the part where you were navigating based on left/forward/right to be fun. The stone sequence was also clever! Maybe there can be a word puzzle based on the memories too. Essentially, I think the parts that required you to read and think about what was being said were the highlight for me enjoyment-wise!

I'll echo the comment below on the text speed--it felt a little slow, and I think I'm just used to clicking again to make text go faster, so sometimes I'd skipped things because of my habit. I think as the player I was looking for a way to adjust it. Might be a good quality of life addition.

Overall, great job!

Very interesting vibe and story! I like the artstyle and have 2 pieces of feedback for this game.

It got a bit frustrating to start over from the beginning every time I did something wrong however long I had gotten in the game, it would be nice to have some checkpoints or just being able to just retry the particular choice you failed on.

The second thing was that it would be nice if the dialogue didn't move on to the next as soon as I clicked but maybe finished the text in the first click and then moved on on a second click. As I wanted to read the text faster but couldn't as I had to wait on it to not miss anything.

I think you got a cool story and vibe going and I hope you will expand on this! Great work! :D

Thanks for the feedback! I do plan to expand on this game, the world and story of N1GHTMARE will stretch a lot further than from just this novel and I hope to expand the game world in the future (N1GHTMARE is by far my favourite horror project yet)
