Any special indications? Anything else you want to tell players?
I really hope you like it because I worked very hard on it and it is my first ever game jam

Lumen was unnecessary here

Developer

I 100% agree. It just came with the assets which I was using for the environment and I forgot to remove it. There have been other complaints about the visuals too like it is too bright or some other bugs in the game but the project corrupted and I don't have access to it so I can't fix any of the bugs. Very sorry if it ran slow on your system!

Amazing submission for a first gamejam!

Unfortunately, I didn't get too far into the game, I couldn't bare the Old TV flicker/filter on the screen. I highly recommend to add an option to remove it. I did watch Patreafa's stream.

The sequences, music, SFX and the map design are great! I remember my first game jam, I didn't get anywhere near what you accomplished here!
From what I saw on the stream, the part with the camera looks really intense and well made.
Overall the mechanics felt great and I wish I could continue the story if only my eyes would allow it.

Points for improvement:
- Allow the player to remove the screen effect.
- Some exposure improvements can be made, especially in the room with Jeremy, on my screen the white light was totally burned out.

Thank you very much! Yeah I can see how to old tv effects is very annoying but I really couldn't notice it since I've been playing my game for around a week so I got used to it. You can see the full gameplay on the game page that is not on the jam but the actual page. For next time I will keep that in mind and yeah I got a lot of complaints about the exposure lol.

Very well done for your first game jam. That first jump-scare really got me good. I liked the tv effect, trying to fix the electricity was a bit difficult for me hahaha. Excellent submission.

Thank you very much! I didn't have much time for play testing so it might be a bit too difficult and buggy unfortunately. Again thank you very much for the kind words and I am glad you enjoyed it!  I really enjoyed your game too!

Great job. However, I almost got stuck in the tower =) But for a solo developer, the result is good

Neat stuff, liked the idea of doing tasks, I liked the story and the ending. Sneaking past monster but having to listen for quiet sounds combined with loud jumpscars is not very good.

The camera movement gave me a bit of motion sickness and the flickering grain was rough at times, remember to either tone these kinds of things down or add an option to reduce/remove them

Thanks for the feedback!

Nice camera effect, the first jump scare was very scary for me, Jeremy was a fool, got sliced up  :D. The plot twist at the end was really good idea.

I was thinking Jeremy was going to kill me the whole time, but my man was clueless. I hope i got my 100$ at the end thought.

Developer

Haha do you think you robbed him after killing him for those 100$?

Good horror story! After the first appearance of the monster, an invisible body remains from it. So the theme of the jam is revealed from an unexpected side :)
