I enjoyed this game! It was super addictive! The mechanics were easy to understand and fun. I kept trying again and again to solve the level and thought the level challenge was good. The enemies all moved smoothly and I liked how the player had a visor so I could see what direction he was facing. I think this could be a great portfolio game! For critique, I was unable to pick up the pizza piece on the bottom right corner of level 1. Also, the help screen appeared warped.
I liked your game it was pretty fun to try to avoid the enemies. A few things I noticed though is that on the help scene, the button overlapped the text. Also the enemy's hitboxes are a little unforgiving, especially the one stationed right next to the pizza which felt annoying trying to get that pizza slice. I also feel like it would have been nice to have a restart button instead of having to go back to the main menu.
I like the idea of the game. No glitches or anything game breaking found. Simple and yet very enjoyable gameplay.
I really like the idea in concept but I was having performance issues which made it difficult to judge properly.
Some constructive critique:
Menu - The return to menu button in the help section is hovering over the objectives text which makes it difficult to read.
Game - I was personally having some issues with the performance of the game. The frame rate was quite low and everything was very choppy. This made it quite difficult to play and I wasn't able to ever get passed the first level. Not sure why that would be happening. Other than that I think it would be nice to have some sort of way to gauge the radius of the enemies search so you can better navigate and plan your route.
When I clicked the Help button the return to menu button covers part of the objectives description. I didn't hear any sound from the game, I think sound would have helped a lot in playuer feedback. I like the red circles in front of the enemies to let you know that you are going to get caught. It reminded me a lot of the old Metal Gear Solid enemies on the mini map. The controls were responsive. The box for the player to get caught seemed a bit off, the player can get caught even if they are not in the area where the enemies should be able to see you. I like the pizza slices being the timer. I think that is a realy cool feature. I wish the UI had a bit more to it. Overall it was a fun game.
