The game was fun. I had to restart it to finally be able play it just fine. For some reason it got stuck before it even got started. The only thing I didn't like much was just the sound effects for the explosion. I think it was a little too loud. I had fun destroying the castles with the different items. I do feel like the cool down time is a bit much. I'll try the updated version for sure!
I'm still using an older version of UE4. The current version has a completely revamped destructible system; I haven't tried it out yet but hopefully it's better than what's in 4.19 (this version). The destructible mesh physics absolutely crush even higher end PC setups. That is the only reason for the cooldown -- and yeah, it's annoying. You should see what it does if I allow you to throw as quick as you can click the mouse!
Laughed my heart out! I truly believe it captured the essence of the theme. My only suggestion would be to have the option to continue at the level you left off. The voice acting was a great addition too, it really made the game to go from just a funny concept to a game where you literally laugh out loud while you're playing. Great job!
Being a beach grump is a fun use of the theme, loved the sounds. I wish there wasn't a delay on being able to shoot your next shot. For throwing things was there a difference between the beer cans and shells? Might benefit from having lives to restart a castle rather than just putting you back at the first sandcastle if you fail. Maybe you should be throwing more old man items like a hat, monacle or shoes.
The delay is intentional so the debris from the destructible meshes has time to settle. it got ugly if you threw a bunch of stuff one right after another.
The beer can is larger and can hit more than one mesh at a time so there's some advantage to it.
I will change the fail to reloading the same castle. The original intention was to have a "How far can you get?" style game, but I can see that being annoying.

Really fun concept, reminds me of the old block castle flash games I used to play.
