  • I really enjoyed the writing, especially how it depicts dementia! Ngl, a lot of the writing made me laugh, then I realized what was going on and this whole thing turned bittersweet. And the joke at the end with the wrong picture for Vinesauce? Funny but then devastating. Dementia has affected my family and family friends, and I believe this is a humorous and healthy way to approach and explain it. You did a good job, especially with your personal time constraints. You managed to tell a good story. Also that music was stuck in my head for a bit. Biggest gripe I have is that I originally went to restart the PC, realized I should look at the files first, then went to the recycle bin. It should be played in order for best effect.

Thank you all for playing this game, and taking the time to give feedback. Thanks to the judges for playing the game and giving your own feedbacks.

I will remake this game one day after I finish my bigger project. :D

A cool little game! I really like the vibe and writing, and the music was fantastic!  I would love it if the movement speed was a little bit faster, though. Great stuff!

Developer

I'll make sure to fix that when I remake this game one day (sorry for the late reply)

Developer(+1)

Thank you.

I'm happy I shifted all the colors to green as opposed to what it was before. It definitely fits so much better this way.

Developer

Submitted(+1)

what's the point of the game?

Developer (1 edit) (+1)

Nothing. I kid you not, nothing. This is my first gamejam and I barely get enough time off work to make something bigger. I really wanted to participate though, so I tried to do something for it. Sorry, lol

Edit: I also really just wanted an excuse to practice and make music.

Jam Judge(+1)

Don't worry! You didn't break any rules or anything as far as I can tell. :D

Host(+2)

Any skill level, any size, doesn't really matter! Jams like this are a way to practice and get feedback. Submitting anything at-all shows you're willing to put the effort into making something, get it out there and learn from the experience.
