Just like when I played Scalextric as a kid, I could not keep my car on the track :)
Very clever idea, I wish there were more tracks and it definitely needs some audio. Instead of having the different speeds I'd have just made it two players and have the second button control the second car. But it's a cool concept and it'd be great to see it developed into a full game.

Slot cars are very neat, and I've only played one game that featured them. This game is pretty challenging I like how you can't go too fast or the car will fly off (which probably is pretty reflective of how they work in real life). I can imagine myself playing this with my friends and getting really mad (that's a compliment). Keep working hard!

Yo! The mechanics/idea of the game is great, but I don't understand how it is "two button controls" since there is only one button to press. Very nice game! Like the art.
Thank you! The original idea was to have 1 button to run plus 1 button for an additional feature, but didn't have time to implement it. In this case it uses 2 buttons to control the velocity of the car, you can press <A> to go faster <S> to go slower or both of them for medium speed.
I had a game just like this when I was little! Very cool, I've spent some time trying to get better times, I would love a full version of this with more levels :)
