Nice and simple platformer!

  • Innovation – Basic gameplay, but still fun
  • Fun – I wish the jump was smarter, like if you tap the jump button it is a small jump and if you hold it you jump higher~ also you should stop movement for a second after dying~ I ran into a spike like 3 times in a row hehe
  • Graphics – Very nice and clear black and white art! I thought it was odd the main menu and thumbnail have color hehe, you should make those black and white too.  The star background looked and moved great!
  • Audio – Simple and cool.  Ambient sounds would help it feel alive, make some wind sounds. Also foot step and landing sounds are always nice in a platformer
  • Polish – Some particles could help it feel more alive~

Great job on the game!  Please check out my game if you like Metroidvanias or platformers :D

I actually got stuck  on this game and finished it. intriged by the coverart i was quite suprised. the art is super simple but fits the vibe perfectly. music was great! perfect amount of content. very responsive movement. imho the acceleration while airborne is a bit too high, felt the same as on ground. a slightly lower acceleration value in x axis might be worth to try out how it feels. overall great game. the only game i actually played till the end so far! thank you so much for sharing :)

thank you so much! i will take care of the acceleration problem, thank you very much for sharing!

on another note, how much time did it take you to finish the game? i’m trying to make a little statistic
