Very well done art, "toggle" took me a bit to get, the only thing I have to say (apart from audio) is the selection, sometimes I feel like it would be more natural to put the selector after a move on the target square instead of keeping it where it was

Love the art style and the visual feedback with the buttons. Fits the theme wonderfully. Nice combination puzzle mechanic. It would be nice to have a "recipe page/menu" to know what can be combine or what you have combined. I found myself moving thing together until something combined. Didn't realize it could not be the right combination until I read the comments. :/ In any case, Great submission!
spectacular art, game design, and sense of humor. seeing the result of combinations made me happy, especially when it wasn't what i expected it to be (my favorite was the "toggle"). this is one of my favorites and i think that you absolutely knocked it out of the park.
i can't add much more than what BlackVoidMedia suggested, but if i could throw in the smallest, most inconsequential thing that i noticed: i expected the merge indicator to be Current/Required rather than Required/Current (e.g. 4/2 for 4 required merges, 2 already completed).
This was so well done! First of all I love the lineart style, not only does it fit the theme but it looks amazing too. The puzzles were really clever, and figuring out what items combine together was very cool, even if it wasn't the correct solution. I'm also amazed you managed to include so many levels!
I have some very minor feedback regarding the UX:
- As others have said, it should be more obvious when you complete a level, like something appearing at the top of the screen.
- Related to that, there should be a way to go to the next level, rather than existing back to the menu.
- There should also be a way to quick restart a level.
- Finally, not a UX issue, but some basic audio would have been nice :)
Overall an amazing job and one of my favourites so far!
It's good that you liked the levels, I made them all in the last hour and a half before submitting so I was worried that they wouldn't be very good (except for "lights out" and "d-doubles", those are my favorites).
Yeah, I spent way too much time on some unnecessary/unimplemented features which I should have spent making a better UI. I'll definitely learn from my mistakes there!
I love the looks of this game! The controls feel great. I would love the game to tell me when I finished a level. I know the tutorial says that new levels are unlocked when I reach the goal merges, but it gets tiring to change levels manually every time. I think adding sound effects and background music will make the player experience noticeably better. For a 3 days jam, you nailed it! Keep up the good work!
I really love the look of this game, the aesthetic is really eye catching. A nice improvement would be to make it more obvious when you’ve finished the level or prompt the player.
Wow! Incredibly clean, fun, innovative, annnnd minimalist!!! Amazing job!
