Fantastic job! Love the way you described how an urban legend wold be treated today! Really good build to the climax but your animations and transitions...😱 Oh my gosh out of this world! Well done!
I was attracted by the visual presentetion first and then hooked up by the intro scene! Good job! I love the looking around system you built, reminded me a bit of Paranormasight.
cheers for the feedback, glad you liked it. i'll have to check out paranormasight.
The suspense felt like a mix between a Chilla's Art game and a game called "Hollow Cocoon" in all the best ways. The gameplay kept you engaged by mixing up choice menus, the cell phone, and reading notes. The visuals made it feel a little like an interactive movie game. Consider adding creepy music throughout "happy scenes" - it'll be creepier to hear when characters are smiling/plot has no suspensful content - the pop music threw off any built up suspense.
cheers for the feeback, appreciated. in my head, everything after the 'let her in' moment played out longer. it was supposed to be a slow burn build of dread basically starting with the photo on the tv. but the pacing just ended up speeding up and i ran out of time {and steam) to pad it out better. so i think the pop music would have balanced a lot better if it had played out more like i had envisioned. but definitely fair call on your part.
anyways, thanks for playing. your game looks really interesting to. going to check it out at some stage.
