Nice game with great writing! Having to walk back and forth across the map got a little key-mashy, though that's more to do with Bitsy than any fault of yours. It took me a little bit to find the broken fence but I figured it out eventually. Good meaningful choices for the different endings.

My most favorite part was the dialog system. You made every character in the way interactable. But, I found one error in the game. when the lady was talking to the player it meant "we don't want you to get lost in the woods" but it said "we don't want you to" "get lost in the woods". Also, try adding sound effects. BTW the game was awesome. Please rate my game too!
You got something good here. I would have liked to hear some kind of audio at least, but I understand due to the time contraint its not 100% needed. I really did not like the movement, it got a little annoying. The thing I really liked however, was the fact that I didnโt need to press enter to talk to someone every single time. That was nice. So that kind of made up for it. Liked the story, a really cool idea here. Good job.
fun game. i played through and got 2 different endings. in classic rpg style, i talked to everyone twice to make sure no one had anything extra to say. haha!
Not gonna lie, I'm a little bit annoyed because of the movement. At first I was kind of disappointed because it didn't have any audio but in the end I fell that it was better that way to keep its darker vibe. Despite that, is a really solid game in this jam, and I enjoyed it so much I even got both endings.
I love the concept and the art, but is kinda annoying pressing every time to move a little bit.
A really cool game. You can get invested in the story and it's nice having to interact and make my way around the neighborhood to get certain ending.
Just because of the style I immediately loved it. Forest really is pretty weird.
Really like this game! the pixel art is cute, it fits the theme really well, and I'm surprised that I was so invested in the story.
A lil missing was the audio. If you made a post-jam version with a soundtrack and sfx, and maybe more story and gameplay, I'd play it for sure!
Love the art style, and Iโm impressed that all of the NPCs have unique dialogue. Was fun to follow the story and see where it lead me - good job!
Enjoyed the artstyle and color switches, and how the game felt like an adventure.
Multiple endings? I wasn't ready for this.
A simple game, but somehow quite gripping and unnerving.
