Leaving my in depth feedback comment here while dropping a short comment for those that check out the game page on there :)

Overall, this VN is very well done and has a nice polish to it.

The art fits the dark and disturbing tone of the story and the voices had nice effects later on.

The text messages inside the phone were cool. I didn't notice that you could scroll back up at first, but that's an awesome feature. Maybe you could have used that scrolling animation on click so that it als kind of scrolls up whenever you get a new message!

One time, the thunder coincided with a voice line, sadly drowning out what was said. Not sure if that was on purpose or if the sounds are just a tad too loud.

At one point (sadly I didn't get to screenshot), the narrator switched from first to third person. I didn't pay a lot attention to this, so I couldn't tell if it happened more often and was possibly done on purpose, but if it's a slip up, I wanted to let you know.

I read this with friends and we were constantly wondering what's going on. There are tiny hints that some of us caught that I may have missed otherwise, so I think a second read-through may be necessary to piece everything together (assuming all the answers may be in there *somewhere*), so good job on making it nice and mysterious.

Very unsettling VN that fits nicely into Spooktober. Well done.

Thank you very much for your feedback! I did notice some of random noises/glitches would interfere with the voice acting. I'll let our programmer know so we can try and figure out a way to make these parts a little better. We tried to make it very mysterious  and not expose much, so I'm glad you all felt this way. Again thanks a lot for your comment :D -M

I was much spooked and very unsettled pretty much the whole time. Normally more linear stories make me sad (cause I want my choices to matter) but the futility of the narration really worked with it. Kudos!

The lack of choice was by design, and I'm glad you think it communicated what we wanted well. Thank you so much for the kind words and for trying our game! -M

Well, that was legitimately disturbing xD Loved those creepy sprites and sinister/claustrophobic atmosphere throughout. I don't think what I want to say really counts as spoilers, but just in case...

SPOILERS below:

Firstly, I have to say, I didn't actually notice it until after I finished the story, but that eyeball on the title screen following the cursor made me chuckle x3 I know it's just a little thing, but I really, really love details like that, haha. So it made me a happy bunny to notice!

When Alan said: "What the fuck is going on?" That's pretty much what I was thinking in my head at the time xD

And, I don't know if it was actually a reference to the movie 'Run' or not, but if it was, coincidentally, I watched that with my family one weekend during the jam, haha.

I'm glad you liked our game! Your praise is deeply appreciated <3 And while I am a fan of Jordan Peele's work, and had both "Run" and "Us" in mind when writing the story, I'm pretty sure it was actually our programmer that added that one in lol -M

This is really cool! I loved how you exploited your resources in a smart way to make them shine! The lights, the photo, the use of sprites... just brilliant. BTW, love the art style, specially the UI and the references from the board in the room :)

Thank you for your kind words, also when our artist first showed me the background for the bedroom I was in awe. The references made me so happy he is literally the best.

This was AWESOME. I seriously need more, so I hope you make other projects like this one.

Thank you so much!
