I had a lot of fun with this game, one of my favorites for sure! The graphics are so cool, I love the colors. I had fun poking the eye on the main menu too XD

It reminds me of the first lovecraft story I read, Dagon. Especially the scenario of the other world. And the protagonist has an interesting backstory and he's charismatic (I might draw fanart whenever I get the chance)

Overall it's a great and fun game, also I loved the puzzles! I think they were the right amount of challenging

Looks great and plays great. That menu with the newspaper and the blinking eye is so stylish and clever, and the use of shadow and complementary colors is perfectly noir. It really captures that 20s Lovecraftian horror vibe. The puzzles were engaging and well-implemented. Everything was so, so good...and then, alas, that long-term nuclear storage warning message that is fast becoming a cliche. Aside from that one thing, though, it's great.

The game was beautiful, I absolutely loved the color palette. The background with the boat had me amazed because of how stunning it was. I loved the puzzle parts and the little animations that played while the characters were talking. This was a great experience and I'm glad I got to play your game!

Great little game! Like the other commenters have said, the color palette is great and worked well with the distinctive art style to create some really stylish visuals. The Lovecraft vibes were immaculate. The puzzles... were misleadingly hard haha. The first two were just the right difficulty that they were satisfying to solve, but I wasn't a huge fan of the third pentagon puzzle as the lines didn't line up which made it feel near impossible without some help. But otherwise this was an awesome experience, and I managed to get both endings somehow c:

The art is phenomenal. The backgrounds color scheme, the sprite, the objects... everything works incredibly well togethe and create  a coherent atmosphere so great for the Lovecraftian vibe.

I liked the puzzle, they were really well done and I am glad we could skip them too, it's really a nice touch.

The writting was very good too (very lovecraftian, from the very first lines very well done), the end was  a bit rushed, but I don't blame you it's really a an ambitious story for such a short jam and I still loved it!

A Lovecraftian story, I feel, which actually was hindered by the game jam time limit. The story feels rushed at the end, story details feel like they're missing meat, so to speak, and the puzzles, especially the final one, are clunky and, at worst, unclear. However, the art style is lovely, and the writing is excellent.

As an aside unrelated to my review, I do wish Ren'Py had better shader support as some of the scenes, such as those where the brightness is cranked up, could really benefit from bloom to emphasize their brightness.

Great job all! Love your guys's art style as usual - always feels so clean and has really great use of interesting colors, and this one's no different! The puzzles and clue-finding tied in really well with the concept of the plot, and your take on a lovecraft-y type of story feels very classic while still having fresh aspects that were great to see. Here's hoping Albert solves his way out of it all!

Loved the title screen! Very creative. Character movement was great. The colour palette is really moody and effective. Love the point and click, although it made me a little sad I ran out of time to do that in my game :( Had to skip all but the first and last puzzle, I was terrible at them :D

Art style and presentation is top-notch here. Absolutely perfection for what it wants to be.

Honestly, I don't have much feedback to give.

I love the puzzle mini-game and if it was implemented just for this jam, the programmer did a really great job on that. The third puzzle was a bit too difficult for me as I am not a patient person but thankfully there was a way to skip it. Generally though, the puzzles are great fun and enhance the game.

The menu UI was both functional and absolutely awesome looking!

Using Renpy always earns extra points with me.

The ending felt a bit abrupt, maybe I got the bad end? Other than that, solid story.

Thank you for making this game!
