Really cool game! I think the mechanics are pretty interesting and well thought out, and the art has a really cute charm to it. Every time I see the raccoon I just want to befriend it though 😢

Was this made in PyGame? If so, that's pretty awesome too!

Developer

it was made in pygame, yes

Game's characters look cool an the movement feels good, but I'm a little unsure of what to do. Still an awesome accomplishment to at least submit a game!

Developer

Thx so much for playing

Congratulations on submitting a game!! I struggled a little to know what to do, even reading the description. But I think with having enough time to fix some bugs and refine the work you'll have something really fun! Let us know if you continue working on it :) and thanks for joining our jam!

Cool concept, but it needs some refining.

The amount of different key bindings going into this game, I though I was going to be playing Starcaft 2: Farmland Edition. But really what I got was a incredibly slow waiting simulator where I had to wait minute after minute for a single chicken to lay eggs. Clicking on your only chicken makes you collect it and lose the game, and also pierce your ears with a loud chip sound. The background elements, like a ladder in the back, makes you think you can climb it, but it's there to just melt into the background, which was misleading. I did like the aspect of a shop, and the potential remedies you would use against creatures (although I never got a chance to use them).

The game has tons of potential, but in its current state is more of a forced waiting simulator, and not too fun.

Developer

Thanks for the feedback. I know for myself that the game is really bad in its current state, and also thx so much for telling me about the ladder, just realized how that might be misleading. Also, I plan to continue this game by making the enemies appear more often and adding more items to the shop, like an egg bazooka maybe. Also, thank you so much for taking your time to actually play it.

No worries, good luck in your efforts!

Cute game. It took me a while to figure it out, maybe it needs an in-game tutorial? It has potential. Well done on submitting :)

Developer

Thx for the feedback, and about the in-game tutorial, I had no time so it seems really complicated if you didn’t thoroughly read the description.

Cool game! the gameplay is fun but to be honest the art wasn t consistent which made it uninviting, just a tip next time try making all the art in a single (like 16:9) canvas and different stuff in different layers, but that s okay for this one since the music was great and made me ignore that.

Overall great game!

Thx for the feedback, and thx for the advice on the art, and thx for taking your time to play the game.

great game! the only thing i would say is you should make a web version

Developer

Ya I was thinking of making it harder and making it a mobile game with more items in the shop after the jam. I’ll look into making the web version though, thanks for the feedback!
