Enjoyed playing! It took me a bit to figure out the worm projectiles, they have a larger hitbox than the circle it seems. I was able to beat a couple bosses after a few failed attempts.

I was able to buy the multi-shot upgrade, but it was immediately lost entering the next room. It was fun while it lasted :P. I noticed that plant pickups didn't seem to stack, so I think some of the upgrades were impossible to buy.

The art was nice, I kinda liked the 3d floors. I agree that sound would really have elevated the experience.

Great job!

Thank you for playing!

We found out there was a save bug right before the deadline and weren't able to fix it in time sadly, so no upgrades or items save correctly at the moment :(

We wanted to add in all the sounds and music we have but sadly didnt have the time. We will add it in the patch build after the jam has ended and ratings have finalized.

I love the character art and it's always cool to see an Unreal Engine game! It feels a bit unfinished but I can definitely see the potential :)

Yeah there was a lot more we wanted to do, but never enough time during game jams. We had a lot of fun making this though and want to keep polishing it after the jam has ended.

Cute game! I like the wizards choice of weapon and the random rooms. Could use some audio and maybe a pop up saying which controls to use! Thanks for jamming with us :)

Thank you for playing!

Audio and music was planned and we had the files, just no time for implementation sadly. Some form of tutorial would have been great as well yeah hehe

Game is not bad, but for some reason music doesn't plays, also this is kinda not optimised, maybe because it's Unreal and my PC is literally a potato but other submissions with better graphics running is smoothly without lags.

I think this game is relatively well executed.  The lack of audio feedback from the enemies is not ideal especially wen enemies shoot at you from off screen.  Also, the pacing was a little steep.  The resource drops were so infrequent are that I wasn't able to upgrade anything after six runs.

We wanted to do a balancing pass on the game before the deadline but sadly ran out of time. Audio and music was also ready to go sound wise, but no time for implementation sadly

Yeah, that's usually how it goes.  There's never enough time, but that's part of the fun.

where is the game???

Developer

It should be possible to download the zip file and play it from there, if you can't find it on the submission page, it should be there on the itch page itself. Hope this helps!
