Great work for a such short time! Keep improving it :)
Very well designed, and I really like how you incorporated the sliding mechanism. The game is a little difficult for me personally, but I suppose that's why the practice version exists. Thanks for the game!
Fun fact: i was made a practice mode at first because it was too hard for me tooπ₯². then i just decided make a normal mode without checkpoints, this gives a challenge for player and literally doubles the game content.
From what I understand you're fairly new to Godot, so really nice work getting this game working! I love adventure platformers, and I think you did a great job on this in just 48 hours. I found the jump and crouch mechanics could feel clunky at times, but I got used to it as I played more of the game. Nice work!
LOVE the art style here! And the sliding mechanic feels super clean and satisfying!

got flashbanged. thought that bit was clever after i figured out the game hadn't crashed lol. think using a backpack with wheels to roll around is silly and fun, like the way gaining momentum feels. theres a weird delay for crouching though it feels like?
thank you for rewiew. What kind of delay you mean, if you played in browser this could be a little lag
ah yeah thats probably it thx
I'm super impressed you managed to get all this done in just 2 days--it really feels like you're going on a proper adventure into the depths. The platforming is already good, but I think a couple tweaks like coyote time and input queueing would take it next level! Amazing Stuff!
Thank you, this is actually my second godot game, i literally learned it two days before jams. For next jam i will come more prepared>:)
