Amazing idea, loved it!

(Oh, and it works just fine on Chrome for me btw)

Neat idea. It was nice watching you struggle along on your stream as I struggled along on my project!

Game concept is very unique and really works to the strength of lisps! Shame there’s not a full loop or dedicated levels, but keep working on this! Would make a great programming puzzle game.

Thanks a lot! It was fun to hack on, I might pick it back up again.

Love the look and feel of this. Would love to see an expanded version with more stuff to do and an enhanced editor!

Maybe one day soon!

This is a fantastic way to combine games with the programming experience . I would suggest the addition of a few structural editing commands (I personally use only a few but  it makes lisp programming a really enjoyable), and also  a run command, to keep the flow of the game going. I feel that this is a kind of game that can work well with very few (programming like) languages.

I really enjoyed your streams on making this one!

Great idea! It nicely presents the homogeneity and dynamic nature of Lisp. It would be better if it allowed for more customizable logic.

Thanks! Yeah, I would have liked to define a more elaborate language, but I wasn’t sure how to balance the language complexity in the alotted time. After all the work I did on the “job system”, I think it might have been better to flesh out the language a bit more so that the game didn’t have to do so much work on the player’s behalf.

I really like the idea and it looks good. I've seen it working in video so I know it has the potential to be very fun.

Sadly it's not working for me with Chromium. The characters don't move and I see this error in the console :-( :

Ahhh crap… I saw an issue on Chrome on my phone last night and I thought it was a mobile thing but it looks like this must be a true issue on that browser. I’ve been testing mainly on Firefox. Thanks for pointing it out!

Thanks for responding, I'll try it out on Firefox.

Is there a link to the source?  I can't seem to find it.

Developer

It’s on the game page but you can find it here:

Turns out I forgot to add the link to the game page after all, thanks for pointing that out! Got that updated now :)

This is a very creative idea! I hope you keep working on it after the jam because I would love to see it more built-out!

Developer

Thanks a lot! I’ll need to recover for a few weeks but it’s interesting enough to continue working on at some point later :)

Cirkoban is decidedly more awesome, nice work!

5 stars for entertainment since we got to watch the dev torment himself while streaming every day of the jam!

I’m having nightmares about Ciroq and Femux
