i looked around but couldn't find a ruling on this - is it okay to upload updates to your submission? people have been pointing out typos on my twine and i have a corrected illustration to add, but no new content or anything. that's probably okay, right? how are others approaching updates/fixes etc?

Voting ends in 4 days, so it should be ok after that.

My last year's game featured quite a number of game-breaking bugs upon release and I waited until the end of March to upload the fixed version.

I'm waiting as well. Gonna push a 0.1.1 version with some minor tweaks on Monday, and then do a biiiiiiiiiiiig refactor before I do any new content.

In previous years, the general rule has been "it's okay to upload small tweaks, but major content updates should be saved until after voting ends or uploaded to a separate project." So yes, fixing typos and quick fixes for bugs is kosher, as far as I know.
