absolutely a huge fan of this game, there's something very sweet about how everything out to get you is kind of just hoping to shower you in affection, i have a real soft spot for that, that and the art is lovely! i maybe took a moment to understand what the individual masks actually did, but it was fun figuring out what to apply them to once you got it!

(also i have a soft spot for bunnies i really liked those two)

aaaaa! this is incredible and I will be following you- the amount of personality you're able to create with so little is amazing! The simplicity of everything is really charming and makes me feel like I could make something like this myself if I tried. I cannot express how lively the world feels, while being silent and that is probably one of my favorite techniques that never gets utilized.  And! I genuinely really love how the world feels scary at first, with the warden trying to get you and all, but then every time you get "caught" it's just like, getting headpats from a bunch of lamias x//) I know some people might find a game like this boring or anticlimactic, but games like this are nothing but music for my soul.

i'm really glad you got to have that kind of experience with it! i'm happy i got to convey a little world that holds a lot of wonder, even if it's not apparent at first, and figuring out unique ways to do that throughout the game was a very fun process. i definitely love games that are just a calm and quiet vibe hehe

A very fun point and click style game. The sound effects really did well at engaging me and the art was really quite nice. Had a lot of fun working out the puzzles and going through the map. A very cool concept and a very cool game to have come from it. ~

This game clearly comes from a personal place. Very experiential! 💙 Thank heavens for the mini-map.

This is the only game I played before the rating period began because I was quite excited for it! I played again today and it was just as fun.

The art is super pretty and the gameplay is quite interesting. I appreciated how simple yet useful the mini map was, and it made navigating a breeze, gameplay as a whole is refreshing and engaging, like an old point and click but with a fresh twist. Some of the clickable areas were a bit oddly sized but that's a very minor issue.

Over all, awesome game, awesome art, and I'm glad I played it twice!

Another year, another banger! The art style is very Newgrounds circa 2007, which I do mean as a compliment, because it works very well here. And of course your character design is top shelf as always. The masks are nice and varied, and they all made both visual and mechanical sense.

I got stuck on the bunnies for a hot minute, but eventually I was able to figure it out. The puzzle design is actually pretty good! I just suck at execution, haha. (I managed to get lost on the way back from the tanuki bathhouse and had to repeat that sequence...)

Love the first-person overlays as well. Nice touch.

awww thank you very much! yeah haha, the tanuki section is probably the hardest one, but also probably my favorite tbh. it's a very wacky solution in my mind

Very much enjoyed this game. I got stuck at one point, but manged to get through with a small hint :)

The puzzles make sense without any interface descriptions or guidance, allowing players to immerse themselves in them. I enjoyed the mask system and effects, it's a cool idea and is used impactfully. The character model and icons are a good balance of being functional but mysterious and have some nice reactions. The movement arrow may benefit from showing the direction on the map you are moving, since clicking at the bottom of the screen usually means going to the previous room instead of south on the map, which can be confusing.

The sound design is good, with clips for various actions. This is the type of game that works well with environmental audio instead of music and you have made great use of it!

There's a large assortment of environmental and character art, adding an ever-present feeling of exploration and discovery to the adventure. The transformation scenes are all interesting and fun to find. Some like the frogs and jailer could benefit from moving a bit out of the way after being solved.

The game feels both expansive and fully complete, which is always a big achievement for a jam project! Alternative routes through the maze could be added as a bonus, but nothing in the game feels unfinished. Very nicely done!

The bunnies took me a while, figuring out I have to continue clicking on the cup, but other things mostly made sense after a bit of thinking. Very cute art, plus I love point and click games, so this is really my cup of tea.

Oh what a lovely experience that was!  There were so many great moments, I don't know if I can list them all--the moment I realized that what I thought was a disadvantage of the sheep mask was what I actually wanted it for.  The moment when I saw the dragon with the key and thought "oh no what am I going to do now"...only for it to give me the key with a smile.  I couldn't help but hug it back.  I don't consider myself particularly good at point-and-click adventure games, and while I occasionally got stuck, every time I figured out the solution it made sense; there wasn't any rubber chicken moon logic--although there was one part where I struggled to figure out how to satisfy the bunnies with the cow mask, because I didn't realize that trying to click away made me automatically lose the event.  Besides that, everything is very clear about what it means, despite there being no words for just about the entirety of the game.  The art, while plain and simple, has enough variety that I never got lost while navigating the map.  All of the characters are exceedingly cute, and the choices of ambiences and sound effects are all perfect.  Although it doesn't look like an adult game, when you think of it as one, the feelings of "belonging" and "transformation" are very erotic, especially after the feeling of wandering around alone that the rest of the game brings.

Well done!

omg thank you a lot! i'm so glad those experiences came through. i felt very excited about the dragon section, i really hoped that it would elicit that "oh no......oh!" feeling. i'm really glad also that the puzzles and environment were understandable for the most part, i find it really interesting to tell a story without words! it feels cool to be able to do that for this

I like this game. It has a great sense of atmosphere in its sound design and colour grading, and the escape-the-room style sequences are gratifying to figure out without being frustrating or unintuitive. The mask mechanic fits the theme and gameplay very well, and the first-person perspective leads to suitably gratifying kink sequences.

I appreciate the transformation sequences and their soft and cuddly nature. I am especially a fan of being kissed into transforming and being a little creature who is cared for by their much bigger furry friends. There is no narrative which brings together the events, which is a shame because the environment offers intrigue in its physical geography and the inhabitants within, which is worth expanding upon with a tiny bit of expository background. Just enough to keep the sense of wonder, of course.

Some of the environment puzzles are typical “lock and key” design where you pick up an object and use it on another object. But the puzzles involving the masks, where you have to divine their attributes from the environment and the physical characteristics of the masks themselves, are inspired and satisfying to figure out. My big complaint with the masks is the mechanic where you have to hide from the stalker character, which drags on for a few seconds too long each time, meaning that I have to deliberately despawn the stalker by running into rooms where they cannot appear. This is a distraction from the main puzzle solving and slows the pace of play unnecessarily.

Overall, it feels good to play and experience, and makes me interested in the types of games you will make next :)

i finally got the bad ending, where i don't turn into anything

this is super cute and i love it.  i don't know what else to say.  this is exactly what i would want from a tf adventure game.  if you told me you made a tf adventure game i would hope it's this

Developer

omg...ty...that means a lot, my goal was to make an experience that was about exploration and experimentation instead of trying to "win" by avoiding all the "bad stuff", and it makes me really happy that that's seemed to resonate so well with folks

is it bad i said "pardon me ladies" out loud every time i passed by the bunnies

you're so real for this

Ah yes, a successor to those old "escape the room" flash games... Fine stuff, although sometimes it was hard to know when I could navigate to new rooms.

well designed gameplay and super cute

the nsfw aspect didnt really show up for me since characters have no visible junk and im not into TF (im assuming thats what this is about), but i still enjoyed the game for its cute asthetics and puzzles

I love this game! The characters are all so well designed, and the endings are so wholesome.

I am thankful for the visuals of the footsteps and that layer of accessablity made it much easier for me to play it.

Super cozy and cute, my one crit is that I got stuck at least once since it isn't quite clear where you can click to move rooms, wish the screen was zoomed out just a tad to be able to see more. The mask buffs could have a tool tip/description of some kind but it was also fun figuring out what does what organically.

Very lovely game. Only minor hiccup with one room for the rabbits, but it feels and is intuitive otherwise.

yet another giftfox W.  It's so cute, the vibes are a lovely combo of tense and comfortable.  the character designs are so nice, too.
