Got to respect that an attempt was put into this game and even uploading this shows you were committed to attempt the task that was set and especially with the short amount of time, you should still be proud that you were able to attempt to make and upload something , good job and hope to see the game working in the near future!
A clear idea can be seen with the game, despite not working I can see the effort that went into this and the fact that you managed to even make a game within the time period deserves an applause , well done!
I really respect the fact that you've uploaded the effort, and within the time limit you really have made a good attempt, I'm quite interested as to what this unique concept would have turned into. As Charlie Smith below me has said, provided you keep in mind any improvements you could make, the resources and help from peers and keep a fluid mindset I think you could improve yourself into quite the fine developer.
Good for you for getting something uploaded, even if it wasn't where you wanted it to be! It looks like it would have been a lot of fun, can't wait to play it when it's finished :)
Don't be discouraged! The fact that you have made an attempt and even had the courage to upload a submission is commendable. The point of this course is to help you grow and develop the skills needed to get into industry, so don't worry if you are struggling now cause Ted, the other lecturers, your peers, and myself would be happy to help you out.
What I would say is don't be afraid to ask some of the 2nd/3rd Year/Masters/Staff for help when you see them. If you sit in the Labs whilst a lecturer is in there and there is some free time, they would be happy to help you out so long as you are polite and don't interfere with the session.
Use the challenges that you have faced during this process, identify problems that you encountered and perhaps things you didn't do that you should have done. University is the best place to make mistakes, but you should avoid making the same mistake twice. If you are committed and always seeking self-improvement, I am sure you will be churning out masterpieces in no time! Keep at it!
Considering the time we had, I think you made great progress on your game. I really like the idea and how you went for something original rather than copy an existing game. If you had more time I bet this would be a really fun game to play :)
It may not 'work' but the character looks pretty cool and the fact you got bits working is amazing given the time constraints. Well done :)))))
this game doesnt work, I figured it would be best to upload what Ive done to show that I have tried to make something so um enjoy watching people attempt to shoot things... on the bright side the quit button works
