This was very charming, and really funny :) It looks great, and I like the story, it is a really nice concept.
As a former cat owner I greatly approve lol
In all seriousness though, this was a really cute game! I was surprised to see it was a bullet hell of all things (in a good way!), but it works well! The plot is straight forward, adorable, and has a very sweet ending.
My biggest complaint is that the lack of music or sound effects made it difficult for me to feel immersed. I think even one track would have helped with the mood a lot. The battles themselves are fine, but it might not be a bad idea to add some variety to the bullets and experiment with patterns in the future!
Cute story. I loved the general idea of a cat with wings saving people from their sadness (cats are cute, and save people from their sadness). As others have said, the text speed was too slow, and unskippable, which did make it feel like I was mostly watching a story and not playing one.
And I think the gameplay was missing something. I was hoping I could run around as a cat for longer, and the "battles" felt mostly just like moving up and down dodging fire. Some variety would have been nice.
It fit the theme great, and I think the story is excellent. Cheers. :)
Very sweet story, other comments have already said this but the dialogue does take a while to scroll, but that's an easy lesson for the future.
I do wanna say that for the bullet hell segments, a smaller more maneuverable character (at least in terms of relative scale, I wouldn't necessarily change the cat sprite's actual resolution) is typically preferable in the genre, especially since it allows for even bigger and denser enemy fire patterns.
This is a very cute game with a nice story. However, the very slow dialogue that can't be sped up, combined with a lack of music or sound effects made the game very difficult to play. The parts where I was actually in control were fun, but most of the game felt like sitting through a slideshow. I also encountered a glitch when I fought the first guy's sadness. I kept shooting at the dark blob and it kept getting smaller, but it never flew away. I sat there until it was a tiny dot before I checked the comments and realized there's more to the game than that. Overall, this game has some good potential, but it needs a couple things to really speed things along and make it feel more satisfying. I'd love to see where this might go if you decided to continue working on it in the future!
Absolutely adorable. Only complaint is slow text speed.
I like cats.
The story was short but sweet.
The graphics were good, but the gameplay was a bit simple.
