Yeah just a large amount of fun, nothing else to say, really!
I did find the movement a little difficult, sometimes I spawned going straight towards water and couldn't really get away from it, but that's a minor complaint.
Thanks! Yeah, I definitely thought about changing up the spawning a bit, but just didn't really get around to it yet.
Also thought about power-ups like specifically a double jump. That could probably make the movement a bit easier.
Thanks for playing!
I love the island's design and the movement of the ball, but I think destroying objects after a collision could be a little bit more satisfying.
Thanks for playing! I agree to an extent. I wanted to add some real destruction effects, especially to the buildings and stuff, but I wasn't sure how that would affect performance so I kind of put it off then just didn't really get around to it. I initially had the mesh deformation effect on a lot more of the objects, but it started to affect performance so I cut it out of some of the objects that didn't feel like they absolutely needed it.
Also left a lot of the debris just kind of sitting around, since from a game-play perspective, you can go back through an area and use those fallen objects to extend combos (although the amount of points you get decreases each time you hit an object).
haha asteroid goes brrrr
It's great to see how much detail you crammed in this small island. And tearing it apart felt great too. The camera makes it a bit hard to see where to go next, but overall a really fun game.
Thanks! The island was mostly straight from a Synty Studios prefab. I added some things like some of the objectives and the fire department (and the ramp "monoliths"). Spent a bunch of time adding the sound effects and setting certain things to be able to have their meshes deformed.
Because of the time of your comment, not sure if you played the original upload or 1.1. There were definitely big camera issues with the original upload. I screwed up the masking field for camera avoid so the camera was just clipping through all the buildings. Fixed that in 1.1.
That said, the angle of the camera in general could maybe move down a bit so you can see further forward? If that is what you're referring to then I agree.
Thanks for playing!
