Very simple, but effective! Love all the tiny details that make the game more juicy.

Oh, I'd love to know more if you have the time. What bits stood out? So I can remember to incorporate them in future game ideas.

Mostly the sound design and the tiny shaking effect when colliding to objects is what stood out to me. Again, they're not "big", but they make the game feel better nonetheless!

One of my favorites from the jam.

Thanks :D

Hi. I liked a lot. Actually, its my kind of game. For this game jam particularly I would slightly change the mechanics. Instead of use the mouse for direction, I would turn an arrow around the player 360 degrees and release the mouse to go where its apointed. Not sure if it would works, just an idea to make it even more "one button concept"

Developer

I've played a few of the games that use this and love the idea. I'm not sure it would work combined with the charge up mechanic, but it's an idea that's definitely worth experimenting with. Thank you for playing and the suggestion.

This one feels quite unique. Nice UI and design; however, I think the "hold" input really slows it down.

If you could just click to charge (speed based on mouse distance rather than holding) I could see this really getting a rhythm going. Click, click, bash!

Developer

I genuinely think this is a great idea and wish I'd thought of it. I agree that the way it is does slow it down just enough to be annoying.

I'm glad I could help. If you have any feedback for my game it would be appreciated as well - this is my first jam so looking to hone my game design skills.

Very cool game, loved the charge mechanic. I also tried to charge into a wall, hoping it would ricochet me further, could be nice to add.

Developer

That was the original plan actually. I will have to re-investigate it after the jam is over. Thanks for playing.
