Just saw you submitted games to this jam! Pretty cool! :)

This one sounds hard but funny to play, it can bring funny moments to a dialogue between characters and perhaps some amusing misunderstandings

Thank you! It requires a bit of mind reading practice indeed ;)

What wonderful whit of whimsy ^^

I really want this to be included into the tome with other tools and ”playable commentaries on game design“ and at the same time can’t ever see myself getting to use it in my own games 😅

Thank you for your appreciation.

There are a lot of minigames in TTRPG tradition. “Subsystems” such as travel, combat, pursuit, perception, negotiation, etc.

I would say this game is less a commentary and more of a technique. It is useful as a breather, like Tarentino interludes.

I can’t compete wih heavier forms but Game Lamprey showed me I can pervade them. We’re just getting started ;)

Hm, yeah, you're right about right about all the other little minigames in bigger systems.
I guess it's just a matter of finding the right context to drop a lampshade interlude into ^^
Best of luck on your ongoing system subversion ;)

Okay, a meta-mini game will be perfect for Tiny Tomes XD And how often do people meander in their conversations to begin with? In some ways, this will add a bit of realism to characters ;)

A bit of a meta-minigame, thanks for sharing!

I really like the idea of a gamescape where games roam, preying or pollenizing each other, like these : https://luckynewtgames.itch.io/pass-the-game https://zwgarth.itch.io/sphinx-of-omalan https://ladidadidom.itch.io/elevator-talk

Oh hey, thanks for using Pass the Game as an example! I was tempted to submit it, but was worried there wasn't enough to it. Maybe next time!

Small is beautiful. Now LNG, you won the prize for making me wonder “is it a RPG?”. :P

I admit, I was wondering the same thing while I was making it XD I shall savor this prize!

To be totally clear about the meaning of this prize, I must say that my RPG community is called “It’s not a RPG
