It's incredible you folks managed to do this in just three days. The menu UIs are gorgeous, the art is simply adorable, and the battle system just works. The writing is clever, with very good characterizations as well. The only issue I have outside of the pacing of the game (feels kinda slow in terms of progression and the speed of play) is this game is very mouse-dependent. If there were controller support or a way to move with the keyboard, it would be a lot easier to persevere through. All-in-all, an excellent effort with high marks for visual, concept, music and use of green.

Totally loved it, you need to farm a lot in order to get the best items and beat the final boss, but it was so much fun to play.

Map is quite broken tbh, is a hassle to move with the mouse, and it really needs to improve player position, its very easy to get lost, specially after a hard battle, you barely know where you are after one of those.
Other than that, this is a very fun game, I hope it could be turned into a full one.

Fun game, slick presentation, great art and music. Great choice of dungeon theme in particular.

As I mentioned in the server, I think it needs balancing, but frankly balancing an RPG for a jam is difficult, I understand.

I feel that the special skills cost too much for how little faith you can recover normally, and Sanae's move that recovers faith is not that useful most of the time. I feel the skills should cost only 25%. In addition , some items are pretty expensive. There's a way to recover faith and get free heals by fighting any enemy that deals zero damage to you and making use of those free turns, but I think that was not the intention... Something like a fountain or shrine midway through the dungeon that heals your HP/faith once would be pretty useful.

Finally, misfortune can sorta softlock you if you run out of money to heal yourself.

Now, two bugs. If you pick a move but don't pick a target, but rather escape, then you won't be able to act in the next battle until you reset the game. Also, you can heal your misfortune and end up with negative money; I'm not sure of the exact steps, but it happened after buying some items. I mention it as it seems you are planning an update.

Apologies for the long comment, I see a lot of potential in this game! I'm looking forward to the full version.

Really fun and solid game. I love it. My only complaint is that progressing is a bit slow. With the biggest roadblocks being the restless kedamas, so you just have to constantly retread the dungeon through all the points before restless kedamas until you level up your party enough to be able to fight them without items. Still great game though. Haven't finished it yet but i will definitely be returning to it. If you can add more party members that would be great too. To be able to vary the gameplay a little.

Glad you enjoyed the game. We actually planned for a full party of six during development with more characters being unlocked as the player progressed. But due to time constraints, the entire back line was sadly cut. We will not be adding any new characters to this version of the game as we believe it would ruin the spirit of the jam (and because the current architecture doesn't support doing so). In the meantime, enjoy puppy.

I hope you continue development with more content once the jam ends cuz i love the artstyle and the mechanics of the game. Also, if you can make eventually a randomly generated dungeon that would be great too.

Just one question though, what does misfortune in the game do?

Aunn AND Kisume? Might be peak I'm afraid.  A very cute and fun dungeon crawler game. My main complaint is that faith tends to be your primary resource most of the time, which is fine in itself. But Sanae being the only way to generate faith, outside of pricey consumables make you incentivized to grind faith with Sanae on easy enemies. I would suggest capping faith at 100 but in return having it generated on kill to not encourage grinding. Overall a super solid concept, would love to see more but I haven't even beaten it yet so

The art is vibrant and even the battle sprites are simply charming. The combat and balancing is superb too! Overall an amazing piece.

wow! truly a marvelous game! the gameplay is so much fun, and the take on theme is perfect, and not to mention that the art is so beautiful! truly one of the most polished entries for the jam, easily a winner!

The game took quite awhile to finish but it was fun! The art was stunning, the gameplay was simple, and the uses of the theme was successful.  It's very impressive that this was made within such a short schedule!
