Is pretty difficult to actually hit the other player, but I really like the concept and it was fun to try out with a friend. With some hitbox or other adjustments I think it would work a lot more as intended.
I can't really rate it too well since it seems like a 2 player game, but the concept is interesting and it does get pretty bullet dense quickly. I would like to see how it develops further.
Thanks for your reply.
The feature that may add to the game might be
1. the skill update or skill tree for Cirno
2. more ability for Lily White
3. add both AI in game
By the way, the solo mode is in the newest version. Hope you did not miss it.
(But I think VS mode is more fun OuO)
Would you look at that, an asymetrical PvP game.
It's pretty fun, expecially Cirno's moveset and how your drags' distance affects the speed.
I think all it really needs is a quickswitch hotkey for Cirno because going back and forth between looking at then selecting a skill, and look at the enemy then using the skills... well every tenth of every second count you know. Especially in that singleplayer mode.
How about being able to switch Cirno's skills with the Mousewheel?
Thanks for your reply.
But I think using Mousewheel might not be able to change the skill exactly, so I also add right click to change the skill.
Thanks for your recommendation, now the feature is added to the new version.
Hope you can enjoy the game.
This game has some really interesting concepts, it's a player vs player type of game, one needs to dodge the bullet shoots by another.
It's cool to see what kind of Danmaku you can DIY with Cirno.
Edit: Now the solo mode is there(by clicking the checkbox), here is the impression after playtesting:
It's definitely not the easiest game to play, since aiming a floating enemy within a short reacting time can sometimes be hard, plus your bullet might fire toward a totally different angle with just a mild miscount.
Your goal is to keep enemies away from your defense line, with only 3 lives, which can be used up very quickly if you are not careful enough.
Thanks for the reply.
Due to some technical issue, I don't know how to make AI dodge bullets, so the single player may not enjoy the whole game.
But still, hope you can enjoy the game.
By the way, Crino's solo mode is now available, in another form.
Update the comment based on the change.
Because it's a two player game it inherently becomes more fun when you've got a friend, though the draw back is when you don't have a friend there's not much to do (as there's no single player mode). The skill choices for Cirno are good and balanced.
You're right, but I think Lily White's solo mode might be just an incomplete STG game.
And I think that I could make Crino's solo mode later.
Thanks for the reply.
