I really like the idea of a VN where it has only one route and the only choices involved are about exploring what choices get burned up or not as you barrel towards the eventual end. I also really like how there are differences based on how much fate is "erased" giving an interesting idea about what fate is. Is fate serving tea or is fate the outcome beyond it.

I like the burn effect that occurs when options are deleted and the overall creepy vibe of the visual novel is effective with just a few assets.

The blurbs about fate and how Remilia's ability works in the white text is fascinating and I think "Remilia's ability to destroy what is inactual" is a great line

I know this reply is late, but thank you so much for playing my game! I always do look forward to how you'd receive it and I'm glad you enjoyed it.

I know this comment is coming in late, but I appreciate you playing my game even after the period! Thanks so much!

Mokou hates Surf and Turf 0/10

The game looks and feels really good. I just wish there were some effects on Miko's movements like speed lines on dash and sound effects on jumps. Having that feedback could make the game feel sharper.

She must be happy, and so am I. I think the game concept loop is neat. Part exploration and part stacking puzzle. The existence of a stamina health meter and the spawn points also make for an interesting checkpoint system.

I love the style of the sprites and the music. Gameplay wise it plays like a standard touhou level, but there are no lives but getting hit affects your ending. I think the lack of background stage movement makes it feel a little static. The ending has some neat writing and the multiple endings are interesting to reach and read.

Really cute game that works well with the fishing and chasing sequences together. I really like the music track, its a really unique style that's just my kind of jam. The only thing I wish is that there were more reasons to not just stay in the right most part of the screen during the running section.

Thank you for playing! There were some challenges to figuring out patterns with Enoko, but I think we settled with something that would be fun.

Thank you for playing! I think some of the patterns are kind of fast too lol. We were going for Enoko becoming stronger for Marisa's sake so I'm glad that feeling was able to come through.

Thanks for playing Panch! I'm happy you kept at it to figure the mechanic out.

Thanks for playing Aeon!

Thanks so much for playing. Hearing CKenshin styled shmup makes me feel pretty happy lol.

I think you did hit the nail on the head when it comes to the pattern design. The magnetism mechanic did limit me in some of the patterns that I could so that switching characters and keeping track of the meter could still be feasible mid pattern. The style of pattern I opted for left a lot of gaps for you to be able to keep track of what is going on more.

Thanks for playing megapig!

Thanks for playing! I'm happy to hear you enjoyed it.

Thanks so much for playing. Hearing the feedback on the patterns and the magnetize mechanic has been really inspiring to hear.

Thanks for playing my game! I'm happy you enjoyed the mechanic.

Thanks so much for playing! I'm glad you liked the magnetize mechanic.

Thank you for playing! I'm happy the teamwork was able to be conveyed through the mechanics

Thanks for playing my game! I'm happy you enjoyed. I found myself pretty challenged by restricting myself to just lasers for spells so I can see it feeling samey. There were some laser effects I really liked which is why I used it in multiple spots.

Thanks for playing! I really appreciate it!

Thanks for playing Saishoo! I couldn't pull off the story I wanted to in time, but as long as you enjoyed I'm happy. Thanks again for providing the track.

Yea there isn't too much going on with the systems or points since I was mostly just focused on getting patterns to work. Avalanche and Piling Snow are def the weakest, still wish I could have tuned Avalanche more so you'd have to move at the split second more often and Piling Snow is the best worst spell in here lol. But being able to hear people's feedback on this has been a real joy, so thanks for playing!

I like how Aya speaks in crow

(1 edit)

I love the Tenshi sprite. The little :3 grin she has the whole time while she is making this snowball bigger, also the crying animation is adorable. I like how stage 4 is basically a victory lap where you just inflict massive pain.

I wasn't sure if there was one I missed, but the game would benefit from a quick restart option.

Thanks for playing! I def noticed that dark blue pellet was hard for people to notice. I learned alot from this jam and from people's feedback so it was a really fun experience.

Thanks for playing! Some kind of prompt of when the meter is about to expend does sound like a good idea to explore.

Took me a bit to realize that it wasn't mashing X but holding X for tricks, but after that it went smoothly. I love the renditions of the character themes here. I also like how on death it takes you to the next set so you don't have to repeat anything.

I love the strategy around the frozen ice fairies. How they can be used for shields or for a one time big AOE. I also really enjoyed the track and the ramping of the heart beat as it gets more dangerous.

I feel like you captured exactly what Cirno would do on a day off on an icy day at Misty Lake. The game is full of such wonder and mirth and let me see an elegance in Cirno I hadn't thought of before. I love the spinning jump and the sensation of momentum.

A really novel little etrian odyssey remake. I really like how none of the fairies are power houses on their own, meaning you have to work with their buffs and debuffs as a team to win.

Really neat little katamari like snowball rolling game. I like how the game ramps up where it can be pretty exciting to see where dangerous projectiles and coming from and dodge.

I really love the horns being in your peripheral vision. Honestly really novel idea having to catch thrown snowballs and throw them back.

I'm glad you enjoyed.  I've been pretty happy to hear that the non spells look and feel like slaloming so thank you!

Also yea the vsync issue, I originally left instructions to turn it off in the game description, but I'll definitely have it set off by default the next time through.

Thanks for trying my game!  There was a lot from danmokou I had to figure out so I'm just glad it was able to come together at the end.

Thank you for trying my game! I wanted to explore more with bombs, but I also wanted to let the patterns be the focus for this jam.

I think I might know what the issue is, but unfortunately I don't think I'll be able to fix it. It's probably due to the update to the track that is causing the desync. I'm sorry if it might mean you lost your replay. T_T

This might be the funniest game of the jam. It would be amazing if it was 4 player coop.

Having to search for enemies in a dense bullet battlefield is actually pretty novel.
