damn, it's really hard. and really cool game! i spend a lot of time tryng to clear this one but didn't defeat even a second boss. but the gameplay is really fun. i'm enjoying it. one of my favourite games on this jam

That's a really unique concept to put on top of a SHmUP.

Though I didn't clear the game so far. I spent 30 minutes, died to the last boss, and didn't feel like I quite learned the game... It must be a "hard to learn, hard to master" deal.
As for the challenge proper, I would say: it's hard. In that you gotta do some "body management" all the time and in real time, which is a thing I'm terrible at. I don't know if the management aspect is easier to others.

As for the gameplay, would have probably greatly benefited from:
- enemy health indicator
- audio and visual cues to signal that the currently possessed body is running low
- different control scheme / key rebinding. I am not a fan of ZXCV at all (never understood the C and V, gotta lift my hand off Z and X) so that didn't help in my experience.
Personally also had trouble manipulating and juggling the bodies too. Emphasis on "Personally". Sometimes I want to pull a body but I pull another one. This made me wonder what if the game used WASD + Mouse instead, which would give a freer aiming.

I'll come back to clear the game later, despite the hard time I've been having, I feel invested in the novel concept.

This has for sure been my favorite game thus far. My only complaint is that it's kind of painful to go all the way back to the start when you run out of bodies; would be nice if you could have checkpoints where you could start a section over with the bodies that you had when you got there.

Music not looping was also a bit odd, but that only ever happened when i was barely scraping by, so on my successful run it didn't even come up.

Thank you! I found the stream. I got to mention how you're the only one to notice the Project Moon texts. Awesome.

The possession is a very unique mechanic! However, I think the lack of feedback really makes it difficult to understand what you're doing. Enemies don't have health bars (understandably so, cuz then you'd confuse them with the bodies), but they also don't recoil when they're damaged or change their sprite to show they're hurt. I found myself worrying, "Does Futo not take damage from this kind of fairy? Are the bullets not connecting?" However, I really do like the visuals, the characters becoming more Fucked Up in their portraits when Mizuchi is possessing them is great.

Now this is a really inventive game. I'm absolutely awful at it and honestly didn't make it very far, but the idea is super good. The only thing I didn't really like was that once you're out of bodies there's nothing you can do and it feels super bad, but I suppose failing when there's nothing left to possess is kinda the point.

This game is honestly so good. Love the elements of classic shoot em ups, but also each stage and boss feeling like a puzzle. Really makes you think of what and how to preserve bodies. The gameplay was a little confusing, thankfully the addition of a manual of sorts was in the game. Overall, a wonderful 5/5. Quite challenging, but fair. Audio and visuals are great, and I love the arranges of the themes. Story is also pretty solid.

God this is so cool! I've wanted to see a danmaku fangame with Mizuchi since she was revealed and this is exactly what i hoped for. Using Mizuchi's handcuffs to drag around the enemies and possess them is so fun

Loved the combination of Danmaku and Puzzle Elements
