Nice Mini SHMUP. I liked the writing a lot. The one thing is I'd like if bombs reset back to 3 with each life, like in standard Touhou. I think that'd balance the difficulty a bit.

Noted ^^ I was a bit scared that would shift the balance too far to being too easy (Mostly due to the boss damage), but since multiple people have commented on that, I'll keep that in mind if I ever revisit this ^^

horizontals, i dont play em much, but its a good one. thanks for putting me in the credits even though i did very little!

large amount of polish here, especially in the main menu which has a staggering six main buttons, some of which have submenus. there isnt very much to the game with only one stage but everything that is there is really high quality

Woah this is really really good and well polished. A horizontal Shmup that also has some nods to flappy birds with the pillar hazards in the stage. I love it. One complaint i have though is that the invulnerability period after dying is way too short. I lost all my lives to kutaka in my first run due to not having enough time after dying once to recooperate my position.

Really good, well balanced shmup with excellent art, nice backing music, and an entertaining script that nails these two little bird fellas. Definitely a stand-out game for sure.

Polished shmup stage. The gameplay was straightforward and the art and dialogue are cute. I will say once again the radiation warning symbol focus sphere is a great detail

This is amazing! You really took ALL of the cues from the official Touhou games!
I do mean it, perfectly reproduces the vibe and experience - I felt right at home!

I played on Nuclear and then Normal. The entire stage is perfect as a Stage 1!


Minor thing 1: restarting after seeing the credits bugs the gameplay, forcing me to close-reopen the game. I guess reading a staff roll fries Okuu's brain.

MInor thing 2: I did a NMNB on Nuclear. With this I have nothing more to say about the balance.

Tysm! And sorry, I think there may be a bit of a problem I didn't notice on that front, as it happened on stream too... My best guess is to do with failing to reset some kinda variable >< When I get some free time I'm gonna make a patch (when I identify the issue)

Also yeah, I did kinda rush the difficulty balancing at the end of the jam ^^; I think I came up with something servicable enough though ^^

It feels like a single stage demo for a full game, which is a good thing given the time limit! Love the profile art and music especially. I felt it could have used a hitbox indicator on the player sprite and it would be nice to see a bit more detail with the pixel art, but otherwise it plays well and feels like a solid foundation!
