Hey, is noone going to mention how it's the 9th submitted entry for this Jam? I'm for real go in the Submission tabs and order the games in "Submission order" lol.
As for the game proper, well a lot could be improved. Controls are stiff: there's no attacking in the air, you can't move while attacking AND the attack animation takes a bit too long for my tastes to be exactly fast-paced, the platform detection is weird at times where if you jump at exactly a height of a platform, you often don't land on it but you fall through it, and there's little mercy invincibility when you get hit so it's possible to get combo'd by enemy contact damage.
Also why the heck is Q the Special move key? It's way away from Z and X that you use for attack and jump, trying to reach it is awkward.
Well there's still the main mechanic: Combo-3 special. It's neat! Land 3 hits quickly and then use the Special to decimate an entire row of enemies! Just place the Special key on Shift (or C if you want) and give some frames of invulnerability at the end of the Special to allow you to reposition yourself and that part is gold.

Some animations were great, but the frogs were clearly just recolored for the occasion xD.
There's still a lot that can be improved, new attacks and enemies, also, a game over screen when you win would be nice to see xD.
Also, volume was kinda low you might want to raise it on the next one.
cirno has some nice animations, nonpixels must be tough to work with in such a short period of time
aerial attack would make things smoother but climbing the tower without it isnt bad at all since the platforms frogs are on have some space. not sure if there is anything i can do once i get to the top, though
Now throwing in kimonos is just not playing fair. XD
I love the character animations and the story gave me a chuckle.
Making everything on your own is really cool, and this was an overall decent little platformer. My favorite part was probably Cirno's animations. Gameplay did feel a bit rigid though, with the player having an attack that's both stationary and too short, while enemies are plentiful and constantly moving.
I like the concept, and Cirno in a kimono. I feel like the game would benefit from sound effects, and maybe being able to attack and move at the same time for flow
I like the animations and sprite-art... Well that's about it, sadly. Attack is too short and stiff for example.
And I didn't got what does the arrow in bottom-left corner does, just signaling you have combo going on?
Impressive to make everything including music alone, way to go!
