I thought it was absolutely what this theme needed.
This is a beautiful piece that I think paints a clear picture of the type of woodland community that inhabits this village. The short string duet at 0:35 is my favorite part of this piece with the playful use of chromaticism in the melody. I think that the section at the end is cool and I wonder if introducing a section earlier with that chord variation would make it seem like less of a surprise at the end. Overall I love the dance-like quality you achieved. Great work and thank you for sharing!
It's a good song but the instrumentation is too simple, it doesn't feel too nightly to me.
i feel like you're confusing simplicity with something being bad. Simplicity can be beautiful, and even be the point of a track.
It's more on the instruments being used in this case, it's not bad at all but they don't evoke a certain feel I was expecting.
